i have just been on the matalan website looking for the date they come out with there results.in the section investor information/financial calendar ,they claim priliminary results announced april?is this correct///myself i throught it was early may but i mite be wrong,any one with a date ,and is it may 5th.

It is indeed May 5th, in Shares mag last week. I have seen it reported that they could be a speculative buy as a possible takeover due to the out of town property they own, I am waiting until after the results. Please DYOR, remember, I bought shares in Thistle Mining TMG when they were about 28p!

cheers chris,,i hope they dont drop the divi to much ,i think they wont ,after all the hargreaves family own about 50% off the shares,so they won`t want to lose there income from it. i`am hopeing to get a 4%divi tomorrow of about 500ish if the numbers are correct,i only bought it as a takeover target,sit tight enjoy the ride,theres 4 of us holding 7000 shares each. regards dd.

8.1 held,nice, does no one see a takeover target here ,,no buyers at these levels,come on you lot wake up ,a nugget if ever there was one.
