Pilat is a small AIM stock that offers broadcasters business management solutions and has recently won contracts in the US and Canada as well as Europe.
The numbers for the third quarter today have some hidden jewels. At time of writing the shares are unchanged with the market focussing on the comment that the company expects to 'meet' full year expectations.
But the numbers are much better than that. Revenues have risen from 5.5 million last year to over 8 million this year and profit before tax are 900k, which should convert to over 1.2 million for the full year against a market cap of 20 million.
The real gem in these numbers though is that debtors within twelve months is 4.8 million as opposed to creditors in the same period of 1.5 million. That is sure to feed through to a massive increase of profits next year. Add to that cash in the bank of over 4.5 million and then put in this tasty part of the outlook statement that:
"In the last few months we have been invited to tender for an
increased number of new potential opportunities including some high value
prospects and in some of these we are already short listed. We remain confident
that some of these will convert to contracts in the months to come, although, as
always, it is difficult to predict the exact timing and revenues."
Even without any new contracts (and I think we can be confident that some will convert successfully) at 40p these shares are imho a strong buy. Chart starting to look interesting.
