I off for a run this morning as watching it will not make it go up (I hope) any faster!

Melnibone - 13 May 2004 09:54 - 10 of 13

Morning all,

I trust the LTBH Bulls are happier this morning?

Dow/S@P seem to be trying to draw a line in the sand at the 200Day MA.
They both bounced off it last night.

For me this means no change in my normal simple strategy of buying
at support and selling at resistance. Until the 200Day MA's break and
turn into resistance then I will treat them as support.

If you sell at support or buy at resistance you are effectively calling
a breakout prior to the event. If you're good at doing that, fine, I take
my hat off to you. I'm not that good and doubt I ever will be.

Melnibone.

ThePlayboy - 13 May 2004 11:51 - 11 of 13

Mel- did you step up to the plate this morning?

little woman - 13 May 2004 12:36 - 12 of 13

I see I've not missed anything.

I have an AGM this afternoon, so will miss the US opening.

Melnibone - 13 May 2004 14:45 - 13 of 13

Hi TP.

Added to some longs before yesterday's close. Didn't figure we would
get a drop and a bounce like that in the US, just thought we would
get a higher open on the FTSE this morning.
Just got lucky, really.
Closed two this morning and kept one running.

Looking for some more volatility today, if we get a drop again, prior
to the Ftse close, will be tempted for some more overnight Blue Chip
longs if they get beaten down enough.
If not I'll just spread bet the S@P and the NDX for the session.

Melnibone.
