Ray Ranson has bought a 10% holding in the company... he must think it is undervalued.
When you have a minute, have a look at his track record... and you will see why I have bought these!!

Yes he is... Thanks for at least acknowledging my post dave. If you look at the history of the asos reviews, you will see that I was a buyer and a talker on the discussion forums at 7-10p... I see them now at 55p (after selling at 40) I regularly look out for undervalued companies, particularly aim stocks.
Just have a look at his financial track record since playing football, he is no fool at all.. trust me... the guy is a financial genius!!
He wouldn't have bought a 10% stake for nothing lets put it that way. Also, the price dropped 50% a week or so ago as it was 'reviewing its funding finances'... why on the same day would he accept a directorship of the firm if he thought it was going bust??!! Surely wouldn't he accept a position as a consultant or just stay as a shareholder??
The only thing I am concerned about is if it gets taken private cheaply. I really don't think it is going bust... it is certainly worth a speculative buy.
Let me know how you go on.

I see Ranson has withdrawn his bid to buy Villa. To concentrate on TES perhaps?

I would hope so wraz!!
I spoke to the CEO, Roger Mitchell last week, and he informed me that there will be an announcement shortly about the company, what that is I don't know. I am optimistic about this company, especially at the price it is at the moment!!!

This could be a very good spot legend. With a market cap of nearly 2 million I should think there are not many shares around too...
I have read a bit about Ranson today and you are right, he is no fool!! What do you think is in it for him as Executive Director of Business Development??

Well I suppose a few reasons. I think it might have a lot of tax advantages for him. Also, he could add one of his cash rich businesses to it or even perhaps would like the reputation of turning a company round into a success so people will follow him into other 'bigger' things later on. Who knows?? I know the fundamentals don't look the best but I think there is definately something positive going on.

We will see what the RNS says... I am with you on this one Legend, I don't think it is too much of a gamble to be honest and I can't see them getting any cheaper. There are buyers only for the past week... this is a good thing.

Yes there are buyers only - about 80k+ bought this week and no sellers. The price has stayed at 13-17 too.

It isn't the best spread I have to admit, but it proves the mm's are cautious about it.. at 18p to buy, I think that there is massive potential for shareholder growth. Look at Ranson's comment in the last RNS, he certainly thinks so.. I mean he bought 10% of company at 21.5p, as it stands he is losing a lot of money, so it is more than within his interest to put the company on the map. The man is worth 30m plus with a proven outstanding financial track record. He wouldn't surely put all this time and capital into a 3 legged horse would he??
Every trade this week has been a buy...

I have only ever lost money on one share, I don't think this will be number 2!! I really think these can do well.
Did you buy many wraz?

Yes i have been looking at this, still cannot quite work out what they do? Setting up person to person betting? is there a market for this. Tried thier web site the other day and it wasn't working properly. Not sure about Ray Ranson either was that a good economic desicion to want to buy an ailing football club like the V**** (no swearing). Mind he wasn't a bad player when he played a few games for my team B'ham City. A bit tongue in cheek will be watching with interest.

They provide trading platforms for firms like Betonsports and if you have a look at their market value - approx 130m... massive market potential.
They provide the software for these types of firms.
As for Ranson, he put in a 30m bid for villa, and I think Ellis rejected the bid because he realised that the club was worth 100m plus so I suppose it wouldn't have been bad business.
If you have a look at the following link it explains about Ranson and his entrepeneurial success. See what you think

Very funny kivver. After my broker spoke to Joe Tighe (the ex chief executive) and him telling him he expects the company to be cashflow positive later on in the year, earlier if new contracts are won, I think the company has massive potential. With not many shares around, it has the potential to do very well. I estimate 5 times from where it is now.

15.5 at the mo, your target 77.5p by when? That would be excellent. Hope your right!
