Another whizz-bang day ahead..... Well, maybe not so whizzy really...

All the Eidos watchers will be praying that "daughter of Lara" comes to the rescue and buys the company... Any disappointed punters can drown their sorrows in some of Wolverhampton and Dudley's famous brews.

Tadpole watchers will be on the alert and Falkland followers will likely be watching Greenwich for some upbeat news...

Good morning traders!

Took me 40 minutes to get a connection this morning... Grrr!

The US market opened lower last night, hit by unremarkable earnings news. Negative sentiment won the day, extending the previous days losses.

The Dow and S&P have both lost roughly 3% so far in 2005 while the Nasdaq has nearly doubled those losses, down 5.9%.

Last night the Dow closed off 68.5 points at 10,471.47 with the Nasdaq Composite 27.71 weaker at 2,045.88 and the S&P500 9.22 light at 1,175.41.

Asian markets are following the US lead this morning and are looking weak.
