Well in the UK the FTSE 100 had a good day following last nights rally in the US with the Markets closing well up as the US continued to rally in early trading.
However (theres that word again!) the US waited for the UK to close and proceeded to sell off on volume giving up all of yesterdays gains and then some.
Closing at the lows for the day with Dow down 103 at 10046 (10000 to be tested?), the S&P down 14.79 at 1093.88 and the NASDQ down 42.7 at 1874.37.
As axdpc commented on the USA STOCKS THREAD in the Traders Room: -
This is not a game for people with no stops or shallow pockets ...
Amen to that.

Morning all.
Lobbed AHT long -0.5 and BPRG short +2.5.
For some reason the only other mover is MRS, down 3%, but could provide me with a buying opp at some point.

Afternoon all,
Fed up with crawling around on my knees laying this flooring,
so I'm giving myself a break to do a bit of scalping.
One already in the bag on VOD and looking for my next mark.
Markets looking weak, but I guess you don't need me to tell you
that.
NDX on new lows, DOW below 10,000, S&P knocking on the 1080 door.
If 1075/1080 breaks we're looking at the 1030/1040 area.
Bottom of the last 6 months range being sorely tested at the moment,
and there still doesn't seem to be any institutional interest.
Melnibone.

Don't like the look of this. Banked the small MRW profit, looking
to re-enter cheaper, same as VOD and GSK.
Will watch US after the FTSE close with a view to US Indice short scalps
if key levels break.
