Sue Helen
Been following you posts and you certainly know what you are talking about.
This is my first venture outside the FT350 and am looking actively at oils.
The ones that look good to my untrained eye are BUR,HNR,SEY,PMO,DES.
Do you think they are a resonably good investment or jut a gambe indeed should I stay out of this sector. What sort of time frame would you reasonably expect a return on.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

mickeyskint,
I'm not Sue Helen but I think Bur is your best bet. Interims in Sept and with recent huge increases in production and reserves.
To be safe, you have to look at the production figure and not the potential. It's the difference between value and momentum. Des is a bit of a momentum play - great rewards but high risk.
Bur though will keep motoring up as production hikes and revenue feed in to EPS.
All in my opinion and good luck.
