Anyone noticed that TND is moving up again nicely.
I hear Bratz Dolls are going to make a big impact this Christmas
and with manufacturing moving to the far east and the cost reductions that go with it Im hoping for great things. (shame about uk manufacturing but I guess we are just too dam expensive).

HI Kev,
Its like Barbie and the other toy dolls but with street cred!!
I have done some research and the kids love em.
Toy dolls have always been a lucrative market - low cost high profit
providing you have a product the kids want - they want Bratz.

Good morning T - Are Tandem the maker/distributor/licence holder/originator of Bratz or what? Looking at the rest of the company I wonder if the weather has hit the golf and bike bits of the business in this rotten summer?

Yes thay are!
Bike's - ever investigated the purchase price of mountain bikes these days?
Rotten Summer? Mountain bikers dont care about the weather!
Golf? Ryder Cup is this week.
Come on Kev put your thinking head on.
The major change to this business is sourcing from the far east.
Better late than never I say.
Take a closer look at the accounts and the last statement.
The bulk of profit comes in the second half and I'm hoping for a bumper Christmas.

You are probably right - but I'm not convinced. Do serious mountain bikers buy Tandem products? What are their brands these days? Can't find a website for them but presumably they still have Dawes and Falcon but not fashionable with the serious guys. And I think some of the shine has gone from the Christmas bike market, when margins were always very thin, anyway. Maybe Bratz will take up some of that slack.
