Good morning traders!

Nice recovery on New York last night with the Dow bouncing back 88.86 points. However, Nikkei is struggling this morning and Hong Kong is closed.

On the board for reporting today we have House of Fraser which has been doing its own PR job ahead of results as though they are going to need some friends about.

Maybe more interesting will be finals from Finsbury Foods. Are they suffering along with the rest or will they buck the trend?

Capital Radio and HMV are both due to put out trading statements today and will likely be very different kettles of fish. I expect CAP to be very upbeat in light of the merger talk.
