A pretty sparse diary for today, so far.

The US markets took a bit of a hammering last night which isn't going to help things a lot this morning. Hong Kong and Tokyo are also down overnight.

Oil is still trading over $52 a barrel.

Blue chip Alliance & Leicester is an Investors Chronicle 'buy', together with small caps Forth Ports, Roxboro, Bema Gold, and Huveaux. Screen FX is a 'sell' in the IC today.
