In a moment of madness I've bid on ebay for a hardtop for a car I'm restoring - and I've won the bid.

Now I've got myself a problem - the roof weighs 20 or 25 kilos but is bulky and potentially easily damaged - and is currently sat in a garage in Essen, Germany.

Anyone have any ideas how on earth I can get it to London? I've discounted asking the guy to strap it on the back of a V2 - any other suggestions?

So many questions, but i suppose the obvious one is; the car that you are restoring is it drivable yet?
