Quite a day to look forward to with AZN interims to look forward too.

This late news item from Shire could also have a beneficial effect today :-

"Shire Pharmaceuticals said late Wednesday the results of a short- and long-term Phase III study shows Adderall XR is effective and well-tolerated by adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD. The company said it studied 138 patients ranging in age of 13 to 17 years."

Also results from Morrisons will bring the whole supermarkets sector into play again.

Allied Domecq finals are not expected to hold any surprises but you never know. Peer Diageo has been fun of late. ;-)

AT&T on Thursday posted a $7.1 billion loss in the third quarter after the company wrote down the value of its traditional long-distance network and incurred a large onetime expense tied to the latest round of layoffs.....
