One service I've tried to find - for specified stock(s) in a watchlist,
set an alert to be triggered every time there is an item of RNS news for
the stock. That means I don't have to keep asking for news, but can
be emailed to say that news has appeared. That would save me a lot of
effort trawling through the news lists of every stock I'm interested in.
I tried asking my current stockbroker but they replied that their information
provider didn't give that service. That's a pathetic excuse - if the customer asks for something (and the customer is already paying!!!) the stockbroker
should work out how to provide that service.
Does anyone out there know how to get alerts on RNS news?

P.S. I'd particularly like to get alerted about what RNS news is going to appear next week - but that may be more difficult to get. hehehe.

I have my portfolio set up on the london stock exchange website and underneath the shares is a list of rns items pertaining to the shares. A news sign is meant to flash when a new announcement appears, but this doesn't always work, but the announcments do appear as soon as they are released...although 15 minutes behind.
If you use this beware as sometimes the prices go loopy after end of day.

?? Unsure if this is what is wanted.
The "N" icon on the am stockwatch list is the RNS and AFX news. Just click on it when the "N" appears next to the "chart","T" and"2" Icon. How upto the minute it get released and updated on this watch list is another matter.
