The FTSE Europe/Middle East/Africa Regional Committee met today 8 December 2004 to approve the annual changes to the UK
series of the FTSE Actuaries Share Indices. All constituent changes will be applied after the close of business on
Friday, 17 December 2004 and will be effective on Monday, 20 December 2004 (rankings by capitalisation are as at the
close of business on Tuesday, 7 December 2004):
