Wall Street failed to build up a head of steam last night, despite better than expected economic data. Investors seemed more concerned about the overall pace of earnings growth following mixed quarterly results than to extend the previous day's strong gains.
The Dow closed off 88.82 points at 10,539.97 with the Nasdaq 32.45 points weaker at 2,073.59 and the S&P500 11.35 points down at 1,184.63.
The US performance has had a major impact in Asia this morning with all major markets trading well down.
Was it Rightmove's house price survey?

Barretts came out with good figs yesterday..
But what I do know is the builders are doing good this afternoon!!
