Traders Thread - Wednesday 26th January (TRAD)

Greystone - 25 Jan 2005 22:37

Greystone - 25 Jan 2005 22:37 - 2 of 8

Hello traders!

The US market reversed a four-day beating, maintaining a positive tone from start to finish following a spate of stronger than expected earnings. Solid quarterly results from blue chips across several industry groups set an underlying bullish bias as buyers found renewed interest in an arguably oversold market.

The Dow closed 92.95 points ahead at 10,461.56 with the Nasdaq 11.25 points better at 2,019.96 and the S&P500 4.66 up at 1,168.41.

See you in the morning with the UK breaking news....

Happy trading!

G.

Today has seen me lob CKN for a loss and open a long in NICL when it broke up.

BFC has begun to trundle. Here's hoping as I've been patient with this one.
