US stocks finished strong last night on the heels of solid earnings reports and encouraging economic data. While most of the market had Dell's widely anticipated earnings report on their minds, investors did not overlook the fact that the majority of notable earnings reports out during the session came in better than expected.
The Dow ended 85.5 better at 10,749.61 with the Nasdaq just 0.55 points up at 2,053.1 and the S&P5pp 5.02 points stronger at 1,197.01.
