US stocks were higher across the board as a modest increase of 0.2% in the January core CPI eased inflation fears that had been stoked by the PPI core rate jump of 0.8% on Friday. The dollar rebounded a bit today after Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan governments all said they had not been selling dollars.
The Dow closed 62.59 ahead at 10,673.79 with the Nasdaq up 0.93 at 2,031.25 and the S&P500 6.64 points better at 1,190.8.
