I've been wondering that myself. I have held them for a few weeks and wonder when the record date will be to get the divi announced recently.

ex d is 16 march, however can anyone explain to me the significance of `record date`of 18 march please. I always thought that to get the divi u just need to be holding stock until the day before ex d and can sell on ex d date.Anyone?

I think Loyds tsb dividend is the best on the market and the banking sector is going to soar once things calm down with the oil and mining sector, it however appears that RBS dividend is alot higher is this true.

Payment of final divi is today. Hopefully it will hit my nominee account in the next coupe of days. I think we'll be nearer to 600 by the year end.
