PROPOSED SANDHILLS 2

DRILLING CONTRACT HAS BEEN SIGNED

Black Rock Oil and Gas Plc (the Company) advises that the drilling contract has been signed for the forthcoming Sandhill 2 well located on the Isle of Wight. The contract has been signed with British Drilling and Freezing Limited for the deployment of Rig #: 28. This drilling rig will become available to the Joint Venture upon completion of its prior contractual commitments.

The anticipated date of commencement for drilling will be announced in due course but Black Rock advises that it expects Sandhills 2 to commence drilling during the first half of 2005. Black Rock Oil & Gas Plc has 5% interest in this project and is free carried through the drilling of the Sandhills 2 appraisal well.

Any new news?

Will it be a case of third time lucky? ..or....?

I'm sure we'll be given all the usual run-up reports ....rig arrived!.....started drilling!.....1000mts!.., etc.......!
