Traders Thread - Wednesday 2nd March (TRAD)

Greystone - 01 Mar 2005 20:28

Greystone - 01 Mar 2005 20:28 - 2 of 17

Hello traders!

US indices are holding steady at modestly higher levels as buying remains widespread across most areas.

The Dow is currently 56 points ahead with the Nasdaq 15 points better and the S&P500 6.29 points to the good.

Plenty of corporate news on the horizon for tommorrow. A good day in store.

Sleep well!

Greystone - 02 Mar 2005 06:06 - 3 of 17

In the US last night, encouraging economic data eased inflation worries while an upgrade on the chip sector and lower oil prices kept the bulls happy.

The Dow closed 63.77 points ahead at 10,830 with the Nasdaq up 19.53 points at 2,071.25. The S&P500 gained 6.81 points at 1,210.41.

Trading in Asia is mixed this morning with Hong Kong down and Tokyo ahead.

Back with UK news in a mo....

Happy trading!

G.
