Portfolio valuations

hilldee - 11 Mar 2005 11:10

Ian T (money am.)
Am I being dense, or is there a situation whereby, when a share is supended(for whatever reason) and the valuation drops to zero, the sum 'lost' is shown as a loss each and every day that the stock is suspended. Almost as a NEW loss each and every day. Is it an illusion on my part or am I correct. Otherwise I am going to have to delete the stock, temporarily, since seing it each day is giving me heart murmurs!!!!

hilldee,

Unfortunately, the way it works ta the moment is that it will calculate it as zero if it is suspended. This is due to the fact that we do not receive any price information for the stock during this period.
