Greystone - 08 Feb 2006 22:38

Greystone - 08 Feb 2006 22:39 - 2 of 12

Hello traders!

US stocks ended higher tonight as strong earnings from Cisco Systems helped the Nasdaq Composite snap a four-session losing streak, and a rally in Pfizer Inc shares on a possible disposal of its consumer products unit contributed to a triple-digit gain on the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

The Dow industrials ended just off its high for the session, up 108.86 points at 10,858.62. The Nasdaq Composite rose 22.02 points to 2,266.98 while the S&P500 Index climbed 10.87 points to 1,265.65.

See you in the morning with updates.....

Good morning all,

Long FTSE100, DAX etc..... of course until I close the positions the money is not profit - but the potention is already over 15.

Not going to make enough to live on - but then my risk is only a total overall of 70p per point at the moment!

LW - It is the longer-term outlook for BT that worries the City, I think.... :-(
