Good evening traders!

In the US, stocks closed lower Tuesday on a sharp rise in oil prices and a disappointing profit forecast from Wal-Mart.

The Dow fell 46.26 points to 11,069.06. The Nasdaq Composite was down 19.87 points to 2,262.49 while the S&P500 dropped 4.21 points to 1,283.03.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed down 113.16 points at 15,781.78, while the Hang Seng hit the midpoint down 19.37 points at 15,607.87.

As Big Al said earlier, oil eased overnight. At 4:40 (GMT), New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, was down 32 cents to $62.42 a barrel.
