Hello traders!

US stocks closed lower tonight with the Dow pressured by losses for General Motors, Hewlett Packard Co, IBM and Merck.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 67.95 points at 11,069.22 at its unofficial close. The S&P500 fell 4.88 points to 1,287.79 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 3.85 points to 2,279.32.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei closed up just 5.81 points at 16,101.91, while the Hang Seng ended the morning up 9.81 points at 15,822.34.

Oil rebounded a little with New York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, up 32 cents at $60.86 from its close of $60.54 in the US on Thursday.

Long FTSE100 from yesterday late afterternoon - looking a lot healthier

Just realised I told my self I was not going to trade on Thursdays and Fridays.

"LONDON (AFX) - Shares in Fortune Oil put on 0.40 pence at 5.60 following news that its underlying operations are trading in line with expectations for the second half of 2006.

Fortune Oil also said that Tian Jun has been appointed chief operating officer for its China operations. "

Yesterday's SER is on the move up again, large volume for the last couple days

FAO is on the move again, selected on the "UPS" two week ago at 4.03p now is well over 5p
