Any reason for the huge change in average daily volumes (other than the news that was out this week)?

Surely this is still hugely unvervalued given expected annual production of 400,000 troy oz. when Platinum trades at >$1,000/oz.

Along with the interims yesterday was the announcement of the purchase of an 29.9% interest in the South African Assets of African Platinum PLC (APP).

The value of APP, using the purchase price of ZAR 1,068 is 255 million. (29.9% purchased for 76 million ZAR/US$7.106, /US$1.955). The market value for APP pre the deal was 147 million. The initial funds will be used to develop the project further and removes the requirement for short term funding. The total budget for the project is projected at ZAR 2.3 billion, (US$324 million).
