Good News at last onwards and upwards from here !
LONDON (AFX) - iTrain PLC, the IT training software group, reported it almost trebled its full year profit and pointed to accelerating revenue growth in the first quarter of the current year.
Pretax profit for the year to Dec rose to 203,225 stg from 70,076. Turnover rose by two thirds to 1.8 mln stg from 1.1 mln. Ajusted first quarter sales for the current year are more than 500,000, the company said.
Itrain said it has secured its largest-ever contract, valued at 800,000 stg, with TUV Rheinland Group, a global provider of compliance solutions.
Chairman Derek Moore said: 'We are confident that iTrain is well placed to achieve sustained growth in revenue and profits. With the business infrastructure and new products now in place, we have the possibility to produce a major increase in turnover if the early promise of major partnerships is maintained.'

iTrain drops into H1 loss, cautiously optmistic on FY - AFX
LONDON (AFX) - iTrain PLC said it is cautiously optimistic about the full year after it reported a pretax loss for the first half of 2006 of 268,787 stg, down from a profit of 33,494 stg.
The IT training services provider saw turnover fall to 645,741 stg in the half-year from 947,655.
Chairman Derek Moore said there has been considerable structural change within the group and this work continues. He said much has been achieved in changing sales and production methods and the board is pleased with the results thus far.
Going forward, he said the board is focusing more strongly on the product training market, which is relatively immature for e-learning.
'Despite the setbacks earlier this year, because of the reforms introduced and a clear strategic direction we are cautiously optimistic for the rest of this year. With a greater visibility of revenues from new contracts, we are also
positive for 2007.'
