Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

cynic - 14 Nov 2018 11:52 - 10010 of 12628

EL - the guardian poll, for what it's worth, does not back your view ....... i have no idea what you truly expected any outcome of negotiations to be, but in my opinion, TM has done a pretty good job in almost impossible circumstances

who do you think would have done better? ........ and how?

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 11:54 - 10011 of 12628

As your on Alf can I draw your attention to post 9998.

Fred1new - 14 Nov 2018 12:07 - 10012 of 12628

Just watched Theresa almost choke when saying "the deal" was a "good deal".

MaxK - 14 Nov 2018 12:25 - 10013 of 12628

You can always tell when she is lying, her lips keep moving.

Fred1new - 14 Nov 2018 12:35 - 10014 of 12628

Max,

That seems a very fair summation of the present government!

MaxK - 14 Nov 2018 13:12 - 10015 of 12628

I wont disagree with you there Fred.

2517GEORGE - 14 Nov 2018 13:29 - 10016 of 12628

Not a bit like those truthful Labour and Liberal MP's eh?

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 13:32 - 10017 of 12628

Ya Boo George alert!

cynic - 14 Nov 2018 14:02 - 10018 of 12628

stan - i guess 13/11

2517GEORGE - 14 Nov 2018 14:03 - 10019 of 12628

Stanley that's very child like, but one day when you grow up and your IQ is bigger than your shoe size you may post something useful.

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 14:22 - 10020 of 12628

You mean yesterday ?

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 14:35 - 10021 of 12628

Not child like at all just the truth and do cut the snide comments out there’s a good chap.

I'm starting to think that the UK border could turn into some sort of EU illegal immigration "Maginot-line"....if they cannot resolve the Irish problem !...

cynic - 14 Nov 2018 14:55 - 10023 of 12628

if not yesterday, then try 12th or even 11th ........ i only came across it by chance, and not even sure how/where

2517GEORGE - 14 Nov 2018 15:08 - 10024 of 12628

Not snide at all Stanley, just my interpretation of your childish post.

Dil - 14 Nov 2018 16:06 - 10025 of 12628

Cynic , re who could have done a better job ..... errrr , me :-)

Rf , regarding what it'll mean to us the people , not a lot really one way or another imo but at least we can blame our own politicians for everything instead of some faceless beaurocrats in Brussels who answer to no one.

Stan - 14 Nov 2018 16:10 - 10026 of 12628

I don’t do childish George as you well know so no excuses please otherwise I shall demand compensation in the form of free drinks and a meal in your town in Cornwall, oh and a contribution to petrol money for my trouble to get down there.

Sadly for you I will be coming down from Burnley on the day of my choosing so let’s call it around 300 miles in petrol depending what settlement you reside in, what’s its name l can give you an accurate estimate then?

Dil - 14 Nov 2018 16:16 - 10027 of 12628

Blair's just stuck his oar in again , that should swing it Mays way.

Statement by May after the cabinet meeting , no mention of whether she will dance too.

Dil - 14 Nov 2018 16:20 - 10028 of 12628

Gawd , remoaners getting louder and louder as the day goes on. Any louder and they'll start drowning Fred out.

2517GEORGE - 14 Nov 2018 16:22 - 10029 of 12628

Stan, don't forget your passport. I visited Darwen many years ago but there's really no need for you to reciprocate.
