Over the Pound ,now can it hold this time ,you get the feeling that all is a bit fragile with everything going on at the moment..I don't know what anyone else thinks but for me the markets could go either way at the drop of a hat..

Fragility it certainly is and it is noticable that as soon as profits are there to be had, they get taken very quickly.

105 is the immediate sticking point which has been tested and failed 2/3 times in the recent past

Business Financial Newswire
"African oil explorer, Afren has reported stable production of 21,000boepd in Q1 2010.
Production at the Okoro field in Nigeria has continued to exceed pre-development expectations and during the period 18,500bopd were produced.
Two infill targets have been identified at Okoro, and are expected to add incremental gross production rates of between 3,000 bopd to 5,000 bopd during the second half of the year.
Production in Ce d'Ivoire over the first quarter was impacted due to maintenance work involving the low pressure compressor on the Gulftide production platform and turbo expander at the Lion Gas Plant.
The Company is planning to drill 19 wells this year. The Ebok development is on track with first oil expected in October 2010.
Management say that they are expecting to augment existing production by 35,000 bopd by the end of 2010. "

From memory i would say the share price is about the same as it was about 5 years ago when there was all that hype about the block 1 joint zone being a Elephant find.

Markets across the board being knocked down.....perhaps when some of the eurozone money worries subside a little then some of these midcap oilies will pick up....I was expecting 150p by the end of the year...long way from that..

Plenty of time left this year for this to be way over 150 by end of year. Soooooo cheap at the moment brilliant time to top up if you`ve got the cash.
