Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Of `cos price `ve been held down !! I just put Cyh on my OBV test, and found out that Cyh had been under pros`s distribution pressure for 15 days including
today! unless the accumulation pattern appears again,do`nt expect any big price change.:-)

Snowballroller--could you please explain what you mean? I don't hold the large amounts of the other posters but I'm hoping my small number do well -I will add when I can spare some more dosh! Thanks Chrissie for keeping us posted.

MP,
I think short term price movement depend on supply & demand rules,at the time being, sells group are in control, they keep selling shares of the company, only
sound fundamental of the company pervent its price`s crashing from selling pressure . rgds SBR.

There was a 5m 3p per share issue last year which may trigger quite a few profit takers. So I think it'll take an acquisition to hike the price above that short term. Having re-read last years full year results I think perhaps that is the only thing holding back Cybit - an acquisition/growth news.

Any thoughts?

skids,
Only take a few more big contracts signed,to confirm the company is in growth mode, hence instit. big boy join in the play, then share price should go up with events. rgds SBR.

PS. Even a fastest growing baby can`t turn into a child in a short period of time, people can compare it the same way as/while they invest in a company!

sbr,
agreed. every opportunity to add below 3p is worth it IMHO.

Skids,
I think value is important than price, at this state,3p is a fair value to me,
i rather pay 4.5p@ if signed contracts pile in! than 2p now!! Why? If price suddenly drop that much ,there`re underwater current we don`t know or see, very
bad indeed for the company, like a sick baby, needs attention and take care of!
If the company priced + in 10+ years time,3p,5p...doesn`t matter, does it? rdgs SBR.

Well the reason for the low share price could be that Cybit are about to make an aquisition. And that aquisition could be Yeoman. Although the price has dropped today, this would be a brilliant move by Cybit and explains a lot. Was this the main reason for the placing?

chrissie - 04 Feb 2004 12:59 - 1061 of 3104

Expect an RNS soon!!!! Skids, I think you are right when you say below 3p is good value. If Cybit do make a successful bid for Yeoman (around 3m) then below 3p will be a thing of the past and onwards and upwards we go.

skids - 04 Feb 2004 14:50 - 1062 of 3104

Chrisse,
The full year results definitely suggested an acquisition. and i'm quickly starting to think that may be the ONLY reason why its still at sub 3p levels. I agree when it does move, 3p will seem rather cheap.

News under Yeoman says they are in takeover talks but wont name the bidder, also issued a statement declaring shares total - what does all this mean anyone ?

phil5366 - 04 Feb 2004 16:41 - 1064 of 3104

Cybit will not bid for YGP!...........

skids - 04 Feb 2004 16:52 - 1065 of 3104

phil5366,
why not???

snowballroller - 04 Feb 2004 17:23 - 1066 of 3104

CYH was still in distribution mode today.Means selling pressure intact.

chrissie - 04 Feb 2004 21:30 - 1067 of 3104

Phil, how do you know it's not Cybit who is bidding for Yeoman?

There is definitely something going on with CYH......wonder what it is????????

Legins - 05 Feb 2004 00:45 - 1068 of 3104

chrissie,

Having done my DYOR into the companies competing in the telematics industry and which of them that would be best suited to takeover YGP, IMHO it has to be CYH!

I rule out TFC as their market share is to get SmartNav hardware built into vehicles to run their navigation software. Their efforts are far more oriented to this built into prestige cars, commercial car, passenger & road haulage fleets where the cost of SmartNav can be justified and afforded by the users. I don't feel YGP's navigation system TravelM8 would be of any benefit to TFC & SmartNav long term.

I also rule out MPS as their telematics field is more towards vehicle security tracking rather than navigation and also I believe requires onboard computing hardware. If there is to be consolidation in the industry and for it to grow for organically and through aquisition MPS are more likely to be a takeover target for TFC if ever there was one.

YGP with TravelM8 is a perfect aquisition target for CYH so my bets are on this happening! It also lends to the reasons why the share price has been in a sideways trading channel and why & what the rumour of talks to Norwich Union about! If CYH aquire YGP & TravelM8 this will be of enormous benefit to the smaller commercial car, passenger & road haulage fleets and private motorists as it opens up the access to CYH's telematics products. The public will also become far more aware to TravelM8 in navigation for private motorists journeys and reducing insurance claims.

Hi All, This has got exciting while I've been away! Good luck very soon.

chrissie - 05 Feb 2004 03:31 - 1070 of 3104

Legins

Who are you, where did you come from, do you post on advfn, and if so under what name??????

Sorry to be so nosey....I agree with everything you've said and I hope you're right, it would explain a lot.

However, phil5366 aka efc123, has said "Cybit will not bid for YGP". I think everyone knows by now that he has stated that he has 19million shares. He does seem to be "in the know" (I will not say why he is, in the know, although he has mentioned it on the other BB) I trust him but his credability is really on the line with this one...

I expect the next few days will reveal all.

phil5366 - 05 Feb 2004 08:03 - 1071 of 3104

Your share price is being managed at the moment, ask yourselves why? something going on here. Just see how many weak holders jump ship, they want your stock cheap.

Dont give in to them.

phil5366 - 05 Feb 2004 09:19 - 1072 of 3104

Will the last person out turn off the lights, thankyou.
