Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Boris seems to be getting ready to make a big move. He has been inspired by Churchill and seems to want to play at being Churchill himself.

Big problem though. Nobody else really wants Boris to be the one who takes over.

TM is making a mess of it - but she does look kinda neat and tidy and does exude a magnificent command of the problems, even though she then messes up as she co-oerces her way through.

I cannot believe that Boris, the messy haired buffoon, would do better. In fact he would not coerce, he would just bluster his way through. We all know him now to be not as good as he thinks he is.

Johnson and Churchill in the same sentence? ha ha!..some of you outer's really do make me laugh sometimes.

Here's a really good way to get to the backstop problem solution:

I have to admit that May does have a command of her brief.

The problem is that she has very little understanding of it and her role as a prime minister to lead all the populace to the promised land and guide them when they take the wrong pathway.

Personally, neat and tidy is often attached to corpses in their coffins.

Churchill sometimes admitted his mistakes, reviewed them, sulked or bowed to his "black dog" and modified the route he was taking.

He often bowed to the advice given to him by other members of his government.

I notice Margaret Beckett is getting a bit lippy of late. She who thought it would be a spiffing idea to nominate Corbyn for the labour leadership. She later described herself as a moron for doing so. No one will argue with that.

Anybody have any idea how much money has been wasted by the present government and TM on EU Brexit negotiations.

Air mile costs, hotels, secretaries, paper and media presentations travel arrangements, security etc..

The government should be sued for their incompetence and Osborne and Cameron "charged" with them.

I went into the back bedroom to reach up and get two or three toilet rolls off the top of our pile and the whole thing collapsed, spilling tins of sardines, bottles of olive oil, tins of tomatoes, etc, etc, etc, etc, all onto the landing.

They were absolutely buried. In fact, it was quicker to go back to Aldi and buy some more rather than plough our way through our stockpile to find them.

Grrrr!

Peppermint tea bags, Heinz baked beans, and Kleenex Velvet toilet roll, to name but a few. I also buy Encona Carolina Reaper Chilli sauce for my German neighbour who loves it. Just can't get those things here....

The Bin Ladens were removed from circulation a year or two back, Cyners. I'll never forget a guy in front of me in the BricoDepot queue pulling a fat wedge of them out of his wallet once - the one and only time I've seen them.
