Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Is it official or unofficial -):

Its in the papers today that she thinks the EU is going in the wrong direction.

cynic - 09 Mar 2016 13:37 - 108 of 12628

i think you'll find it's in that pillar of truth the SUN and a formal complaint has been lodged by the palace

the queen is far too experienced to be suckered into such a situation

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 13:38 - 109 of 12628

:-)) Hang on I will give Buckingham palace a ring. lol

Stan - 09 Mar 2016 13:45 - 110 of 12628

.. She's talking to me at the moment so get in line D/C.

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 13:47 - 111 of 12628

Chris Carson - 09 Mar 2016 13:51 - 112 of 12628

The City of London could be cut off from the EU's banking markets in the event that the UK quits the union, as regulators on the continent could declare Britain "an offshore financial centre," top business leaders have warned. If British voters decide to leave the EU in the referendum this June, the country would only have a chance of maintaining access to the single market if European officials were convinced UK regulations were similar to, or tougher than, EU rules. - Telegraph

If you had said the King you may have been nearer CC -):

Stan - 09 Mar 2016 14:03 - 115 of 12628

More scare mongering D/C.

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 14:04 - 116 of 12628

I like to read all, then make my decision. :-))

Stan - 09 Mar 2016 14:07 - 117 of 12628

Yes I agree, but quite a lot of it does seem to be scare mongering in my humble.

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 14:21 - 118 of 12628

A couple of years old, but interesting

Uk better off in or out.

cynic - 09 Mar 2016 14:38 - 119 of 12628

it's certainly interesting but as always, so difficult to determine the reality (truth)

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 14:41 - 120 of 12628

I think we will only know the truth once we have voted .

cynic - 09 Mar 2016 15:00 - 121 of 12628

you won't even know it then
many of the consequences cannot even be determined with any certainty

dreamcatcher - 09 Mar 2016 15:24 - 122 of 12628

The palace has lodged a complaint about the Sun article.

jimmy b - 09 Mar 2016 17:44 - 123 of 12628

Do i sense from Queen Stan's previous posts he's an outer ?

Why don't you just come out Stan ,or maybe i should rephrase that , why don't you just tell ,in or out ,or are you not going to have an opinion on this either .
