I'm guessing so don't worry opto - VOD did no a lot today all in all.
(someone's parked in number one son's space outside, that'll please him
when he and his mobile disco arrives back from work!)

optomistic - 30 Jul 2004 17:04 - 10608 of 23498

No it held back a bit, feel sure the telcos will turn and VOD could be one of the first. Just opened a bottle of Asti, nice light and refreshing. My Kelda did OK today seems to fighting its way up steadily, lets face it anything going up at the moment is a bonus. Will your son 'blast' the car out of existance. :-)

stockbunny - 30 Jul 2004 17:10 - 10609 of 23498

Well it makes is easy to know when he's home - listen for the windows
shaking in their frames (giggle) I've told him he'll loosen the nuts and bolts
on it in the end with all the vibration - it's all bass these days, great
thumping bass - but he turns it down when I'm in the car (bless)

I like Asti about the only white I'll drink as I'm really a red drinker
if at all, if its white it has to be on the sweet side and not throat-gripping!

chocolat - 30 Jul 2004 17:20 - 10610 of 23498

Oh goodie, a nice long glass of the cool stuff...afternoon all.

Said mobile disco is now alarmed - more noise - but it seems to have
done the trick - touch wood.

chocolat - 30 Jul 2004 17:29 - 10616 of 23498

Hellooo bunny - no need to panic, we have until Sunday ;) but I'll come up with something before then..

daves dazzlers - 30 Jul 2004 17:47 - 10618 of 23498

does any body find loft`s a hot place this time of year, been sorting mine out.

stockbunny - 30 Jul 2004 17:56 - 10619 of 23498

Ah mistake number one - you don't go up in the loft in Summer unless
you happen to like being cooked alive!!!!

little willie - 30 Jul 2004 19:44 - 10620 of 23498

Any sign of Fundi out there in the wild & blue...?
Did you get my mail?
Wonder what out team has to offer compared to these other caff laggards.

Some sort of sanity should return around 7.20pm tommorrow when I finally sink into my [hopefully] upgraded[??!!??] BA seat on the silver bird back to Blighty.

This week I've been like a headless chicken chasing builders, electricians, plumbers, lighting specialists, interior designers, marble suppliers, decorators, tilers, kitchen fitters, pool designers, solar power outfits, landscapers and more cowboys than were ever on 'The Roy Rodgers Show'.
All of whom incidentally, wanted paying a lump up front as a sign of 'good faith' despite the fact that I've employed the buggers full time for the past 9 months!!
They know I'm away for 4 weeks, bloody marvellous...One's faith in ones fellow man...none of them has had so much as one days late payment!! C'est la Vie.

Anyway looking forward to some scorching weather for August and a strong lead in "The Game"!!!!! "C'Mon My Son!!!!"
