Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

chrissie,

Having done my DYOR into the companies competing in the telematics industry and which of them that would be best suited to takeover YGP, IMHO it has to be CYH!

I rule out TFC as their market share is to get SmartNav hardware built into vehicles to run their navigation software. Their efforts are far more oriented to this built into prestige cars, commercial car, passenger & road haulage fleets where the cost of SmartNav can be justified and afforded by the users. I don't feel YGP's navigation system TravelM8 would be of any benefit to TFC & SmartNav long term.

I also rule out MPS as their telematics field is more towards vehicle security tracking rather than navigation and also I believe requires onboard computing hardware. If there is to be consolidation in the industry and for it to grow for organically and through aquisition MPS are more likely to be a takeover target for TFC if ever there was one.

YGP with TravelM8 is a perfect aquisition target for CYH so my bets are on this happening! It also lends to the reasons why the share price has been in a sideways trading channel and why & what the rumour of talks to Norwich Union about! If CYH aquire YGP & TravelM8 this will be of enormous benefit to the smaller commercial car, passenger & road haulage fleets and private motorists as it opens up the access to CYH's telematics products. The public will also become far more aware to TravelM8 in navigation for private motorists journeys and reducing insurance claims.

Hi All, This has got exciting while I've been away! Good luck very soon.

Legins

Who are you, where did you come from, do you post on advfn, and if so under what name??????

Sorry to be so nosey....I agree with everything you've said and I hope you're right, it would explain a lot.

However, phil5366 aka efc123, has said "Cybit will not bid for YGP". I think everyone knows by now that he has stated that he has 19million shares. He does seem to be "in the know" (I will not say why he is, in the know, although he has mentioned it on the other BB) I trust him but his credability is really on the line with this one...

I expect the next few days will reveal all.

phil5366 - 05 Feb 2004 08:03 - 1071 of 3104

Your share price is being managed at the moment, ask yourselves why? something going on here. Just see how many weak holders jump ship, they want your stock cheap.

Dont give in to them.

phil5366 - 05 Feb 2004 09:19 - 1072 of 3104

Will the last person out turn off the lights, thankyou.

nematode - 05 Feb 2004 09:21 - 1073 of 3104

Phil,I agree this share is being managed but to what extent and when will the day of reckoning come???

phil5366 - 05 Feb 2004 10:17 - 1074 of 3104

I think over the next week or two things will change for the better.

nematode - 05 Feb 2004 10:21 - 1075 of 3104

Is it true what chrissie says that you are efc,in which case you are a very astute man.Can I ask you how much in %premium were you offered for your holdings???

Legins - 05 Feb 2004 10:36 - 1076 of 3104

chrissie,

I am just a small private investor with a target to speculate to accumulate and increase my investment capital for some pressing mid to long term goals.

Very occasionally I contribute to posts on advfn (Legins99) but find there is far more personal insult, abuse and idle chat totally unrelated to the thread and because of the volume of this it takes to long to sort out the "wheat from the chaff". So I far prefer am and the majority of people contributing to this BB who seem to be intelligent and provide a good balance of +ve or -ve commentary.

I also think your posts are interesting on CYH, particularly as I understand you also are investing yourself in the company and work elsewhere in the telematics industry on the "shop floor" so to speak and therefore worth listening to your commentary.

On the subject of phil5366 aka efc123 unless he works in the telematics industry and close to CYH or working directly for them or that he has a personal contact to someone in the boardroom he does not know anything better than what anyone else can glean from information in the public domain. If he holds 19Mln in CYH then expected good fortune for him but that doesn't mean his commentary and opinion is any more accurate to others here. I agree with him that others should not give in to selling their CYH holdings.

Where I come from is certainly not on Cloud9, however I am inquisitive in knowledge and need to have my eyes and ears wide open with having an adventurous and entrepenureal trading personality. Just following a gut feeling and instinct has often paid off.

Also about 2yrs ago I purchased some charting / technical analysis software called Metastock which literally transformed my timing accuracy in buy and sell decisions in trading for growth investing. In the main for investment analysis I use just 4 indicators overlaid on charts. These are MACD, RSI(14), RSI's 10Day simple moving average and RSI's Bollinger Bands. The RSI is IMO the best gauge of strength and sentiment of companies with MM's.

The RSI values on CYH have been stuck in a channel between 47 & 55 for several weeks but previously has been in an upward trend channel. Had the RSI fell below current trading channel levels towards and below 30 then CYH would not have that a solid a profit making future for investors & MM's as in the coming weeks and months with futher contract news and next accounts the share price should signifcantly improve.

legins,
very good post! nice to see you around here.
I just put CYH on my OBV watch, even the sys does`nt work as efficiency as in large coms. rgds SBR.
PS, `ve a look at OMH, a candidate for nearterm trade or long term investment.

DYOR and see how similar these companies in their growth cycle and stream on contract news, both excellent but in different software technologies.

Nitefly - 05 Feb 2004 13:42 - 1079 of 3104

I certainly would not complain if Cybit(CYH) did what African Diamonds and Gold(AFD) has done.

My "OBV watch" just indicate that CYH starts a rally sign, can it establish an accumulation pattern? Still too early to tell yet. SBR

Nicholas - 05 Feb 2004 16:16 - 1086 of 3104

_Pardon my ignorance but what is a OBV watch". Is this on Money aM?

Legins - 05 Feb 2004 16:22 - 1087 of 3104

OBV is a charting technical analysis indicator called On Balance Volume
