Yes, same here Plateman. I'm getting an "invalid login" on an EA I'm running then it crashes. Suspected it was the EA, but your post makes me think it's something else. Are you running any of Hils EAs? My account's with Alpari. You?

Yes, Alpari and EA's, but it's the same on ODL also running EA's on that account. The error message that I get is the one that gives you a choice of sending a report to MS.

Not quite the same, but it looks like an MT4 bug from this angle. I might try and remove the EAs from the experts folder and see if it still loads. Busy for half an hour or so though.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on SC, have open positions on both so a little worrying.
Edit Alpari platform seems stable without the EA.

I'm getting exactly the same message as Plateman (Alpari UK). I'm still on a demo account so I'll leave it for tonight. Hope you manage to get something sorted out.

Both back OK now, may have been maintenance while the market is closed, hope yours is OK as well SC.

Yup, mine OK now too. Wonder what that was all about? Also have 2 open positions, although one has a profit locked in and the other has TP & SLs set.
Edit, guess it must have been someone doing maintenance somewhere.

Theyre dusting for prints (only because you cant dust for vomit..) in USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, AUD/JPY after the cancellation of a single Australian coal cargo acted as the straw that broke the camels back on the notion that Chinas will lead the world out of recession.
Once stops below 93.50 were triggered USD/JPY fell to 92.74 n a flash while EUR/JPY slumped as low as 128.63.
AUD/USD hit an air-pocket which took it from 0.7850 to 0.7765 from which is has struggled to bounce.
You only see moves like this a handful of times a year. Hope you were on the right side.My guess is that Mrs. Watanabe was not
As we write, EUR/USD is falling to fresh lows along with the equity market. Risk is very much out of fashion. EUR/USD trades at 1.3852. 1.3825 is support amid talk of 1.3800 barriers.

435 Trading Credit - Youll be bowled over by this offer!
To celebrate Englands fantastic first innings performance in the first Ashes test, ODL Markets will give you a trading credit (in sterling) to match their 435 runs.
Thats a 435 trading credit when you open a MT4 Forex account.
All you have to do is open an MT4 account with ODL Markets by 12th July 2009
And if 435 doesnt take your fancy, ODL will be running this for the following 4 test matches. So if you think there will be more runs made by the first batting team in any of the remaining tests, then wait and see what happens!
And better still, if England does regain the Ashes, ODL Markets will add an extra 50 worth of trading credits in your account!
All you have to do is open and fund an MT4 Forex account with ODL Markets during one of the days in each of the five test matches* and ODL will put trading credits in your account.

I use ODL for spreadbet and forex on MT4. Not had a problem and would recommend them.

With the Aussies resuming at 230-1, I think ODL's 50 is looking safe.

Only thing is, this isn't money they're giving, it simply adds to your leverage, but can never be withdrawn. Pretty pointless imho unless you use every inch of your margin. And they'll remove it after a while. Had the same sort of offer with Alpari, and was quite happy when they took the trading credit back.
