sp is like Dr Faustus as he is being slowly dragged down to Hell

cynic - 28 Mar 2007 15:45 - 1075 of 1184

hlyeo98 - 28 Mar 2007 17:36 - 1076 of 1184

I exited with a profit of 30%. Phew!

cynic - 28 Mar 2007 19:00 - 1077 of 1184

micky468 - 29 Mar 2007 08:52 - 1078 of 1184

Retested broken support from underneath? Not a bad setup.

cynic - 29 Mar 2007 09:01 - 1080 of 1184

to all intents and purposes, it's dead in the water .... that no one will lend stock - i.e.. needed to set up short - tells you plenty .... in other words, overwhelming consensus is that this company and its sp are heading for the great dustbin

if you hold, get out ..... PXC would be a pretty good suggested suppository (in the nicest sense of the word!) ..... almost guranteed profit (imo!!) of at least 2p in the near future

micky468 - 29 Mar 2007 09:09 - 1081 of 1184

cynic your words neaver fail me as for (PXC) i brought at 6p

cynic - 29 Mar 2007 09:55 - 1082 of 1184

so dump ULT and BFC and buy more PXC for reasons you already know

micky468 - 29 Mar 2007 10:34 - 1083 of 1184

cynic
you brought to late cynic 16.75p what were you thinking but you can make your money back and buy (ULT) they.. (LOL).. when i told them to buy (PXC) at 6p but now there all looking for them pink pigs..........as for (BFC) yes your right

cynic - 29 Mar 2007 10:46 - 1084 of 1184

bought too late? ..... yes, arguably so, though that was to close a short at an average of about 27p, so as i said previously, made a very good profit rather a stunning one had i closed at 10/11p a week earlier, or even arguably left the short position running.

as for PXC, i held them for several monhs about a year ago and sold at a modest profit from memory, in May/June ...... have now bought back.

G D Potts - 30 Mar 2007 09:41 - 1085 of 1184

The times reporting a debt For equity swap - this is the end or BFC

cynic - 30 Mar 2007 09:45 - 1086 of 1184

been telling you all that for ages! ...... that Barclays management fund is going to have a lot of questions to answer!

hlyeo98 - 30 Mar 2007 09:48 - 1087 of 1184

But the sp is moving upwards today. Maybe they will fund it because there is something good in BFC?

cynic - 30 Mar 2007 09:55 - 1088 of 1184

if you have a profit, for goodness take it ... if you are running a loss, then either cut it or set a very tight stop loss ..... if you want a similar gamble, play russian roulette

hlyeo98 - 30 Mar 2007 10:00 - 1089 of 1184

I guess that is the excitement in BFC.

cynic - 30 Mar 2007 10:09 - 1090 of 1184

if you are playing with real money, then the excitement lies in getting the calls right, whether that is taking your profits or cyutting your losses .... only a damn fool reckons he can buy at the bottom and sell at the top .... if you are playing with matchsticks, then take all the risk you like

hlyeo98 - 30 Mar 2007 10:38 - 1091 of 1184

Barclays will surely not be playing with matchsticks...I don't see them backing losers.

G D Potts - 30 Mar 2007 10:43 - 1092 of 1184

but BFC is a loser. The funding theyve just secured will only run till May ! Perhaps Barclays know that We're going to war with Iran and that as the price of crude rises so will the popularity of Biodesel and subsequently BFC.

cynic - 30 Mar 2007 11:17 - 1093 of 1184

exactly so, and the price of crude has nil effect on BFC's (in)abilituy to survive
