ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

You may be right. Best not be too greedy and take some chips off the table IMHO. Difficult call since the fundamentals still look good.

looking at the share price today it seems there will be a steady rise in the share price running up to the results which are due on the 30th of this month.i hope others will have a view on this as well, results are anticipated better than expected but you never know these days.as always dyor.

The results will be better than anticipated.... but since that news, they have soared....so how good do they have to be? If they rise considerably before the results I will take more money off the table before the results.
cheers

Speculate as much as like about the short/medium term price movements; the real issue is that ASOS has a very sexy business model which should and no doubt will justify a much higher than average PE (Profitable Aim companies trade on average rolling PE of just over 18 and 25 for following years estimates).
Another positive factor is current exposure to institutional holding or rather lack of it - the share register as at April 8 this year confirms less than 0.5% holding. Analysis of share trades since then suggest several nibbles but nothing like the scale one might expect after forthcoming results have been digested.
House broker SP will, I expect, put out another broker note (previous can be found on ASOS.com, click Investor Relations at botton of home page) and this again might appear on their website - additionally and more powerfully another broker may well start to cover the stock.
The saying "run your profits" has added resonance in ASOS's case as the business model is appreciably easier to fathom due to it's simplicity, no obvious competition and unlikely to be any, it's a turnaround situation and more importantly the stock is now in play and receiving disproportionate coverage in the financial press, it's a real business generating fast growing positive cashflows and profits - it's merely a question of, if over the next eighteen months geopolital issues aside, whether this is a three bagger or a ten bagger despite its metoric rise so far this year. My guess is probably somewhere between the two.
CNBC are scheduled to interview and simultaneously broadcast a company call with Nick Robertson their CEO at 0950 on Wednesday 30th June.

its clear the price on current values is in the price each person has to make there own minds up if they want to hold or sell,my own view is new products should come on stream in time for xmas giving more profits to the bottom line.rns should give clearer view.if anyone can find a stock with more growth potential on a 12 month time period let me know.cheers woodie

I think investors will now feel it is safe to go back in. After such a sharp rise before the results (barring yesterday), it was not safe to buy shortly before the results. Infact I'm a bit surprised they did not fall further today. When things have settled in a few days I think it will be upward again. Here's hoping!
