ZOO - on the up again? (ZOO)

LINZIMASON - 29 Jul 2003 15:30

What's happening here - the volume has increased massively today. Am I missing something in the air - anybody got any news?

jules99 - 19 Nov 2003 09:26 - 110 of 170

nathan7 unfortunately I dont know answer but if u hang on long enough someone will..

sorry mate..Jules999.

homebase - 19 Nov 2003 19:36 - 111 of 170

In theory a placing would dilute the shares,
The Sells also outweigh the buys today so am a little concerned!

The biggest sell rolling in at 200,000 shares (one shareholder)

I might chicken out and cancel a buy i had down for tomorrow.

If Mr 200,000 shares can't see any quick profit im with him!!
The shares do seem to be well backed though, So find myself in a catch 22 situation.
I think i'll wait and see what happends before I buy!

bingobingham - 20 Nov 2003 11:02 - 112 of 170

Anyone have any ideas why ZOO has been on a downward trend as of late. I know there was plenty of profit taking recently, but I'm not aware of any bad news, unless the placement has caused investors to be nervous.

K1per - 20 Nov 2003 15:21 - 113 of 170

yes any news on zoo please, didn't sell at 19p wish i had now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

goldfinger - 20 Nov 2003 15:32 - 114 of 170

BB probably right about the placement, although looking at buys and sells looks like MMs playing a few tricks.

cheers GF.

BANKONE - 20 Nov 2003 16:07 - 115 of 170

stick with it - good news imminent DYOR

B_ASKIN - 20 Nov 2003 16:17 - 116 of 170

bingobingham, read post 182 by guysands on RTD-Why? thread by Nitefly.
It gives a very interesting insight as to the tricks that are played by the shrewdies.

guysands - 20 Nov 2003 17:40 - 117 of 170

In this hour of gloom you ZOO believers should be topping up. Not worrying!

bob725 - 20 Nov 2003 18:25 - 118 of 170

Hi Guysands,

I read your post on rules off mms manipulating stock prices. I'd like to paste it on another board. I'll mention your name as source. Is this ok?

guysands - 20 Nov 2003 18:33 - 119 of 170

Yes - paste away, although I am not the author!

I also lifted it from another BB but I was invited to post it elsewhere if I wanted.

ajren - 20 Nov 2003 19:09 - 120 of 170

Their Nov 19 statemement is - in my opinion - Very positive

littlejon - 20 Nov 2003 23:10 - 121 of 170

Hi mate

First reply and first time on this message board for me?
just scanning texts and clocked ZOO, I bought a few shares in zoo in sept03 happy with progress however missed out on selling at 18.00p now worried what to do, buy more or sell and wait for further news?

ajren - 21 Nov 2003 11:15 - 122 of 170

Today

Additional Listing
Number of shares in issue following admission of 43,750 now is 224,268,426

ntk98 - 21 Nov 2003 11:44 - 123 of 170

what does it mean for Zoo? can you pls analyse the situation

ajren - 21 Nov 2003 11:49 - 124 of 170

Hi,I usually only supply the LATEST info for interested readers to analyse.
Sometimes I give an Opinion - if I have time.

goldfinger - 21 Nov 2003 12:04 - 125 of 170

NTK98, it means there is more shares in issue so therefore there is dilution of any future dividends, in other words 1 share will attract less divi. There is also the effect it can have on demand and supply for the shares, and therefore the price, ie, if theres far more shares in existence and on one day supply is greater than demand we are likely to see a price fall (in genersl terms as MMs dont ever work that way).

The good news and this is my opinion, is that the extra funding/working capital they have raised will bring forth the International partner they have been seeking. In other words funds are in place for things to get started and get very interesting. I feel the plusses far outweigh the minuses.

cheers GF.

ntk98 - 21 Nov 2003 12:51 - 126 of 170

thanks GF.

I have that feeling as well. I still hold ZOO. But need to ask because have seen recently so many negative comments on AFN, some are quite abus., so they are less trustable for me. I am still thinking this is a good stock, await for news before Xmas or March.

Pls allow me for asking an other question outside this ZOO, but has to do with stock amount dilution\placing. It is about AZN. Reagrdless very good news and long term good product price falling, some say because of the AZN's own purchase to cancelling sometime 400K, 500K of shares and continueing. IMO, ist is the opposit of a share placing, additional listing or share dilution, so it should have a positive effect but I could not understand the falling price accmpanied all those news. Could you spare sometime to explain it and remove your explanation from this thread after one day because AZN does not belong to here if you want.

I am very sorry about this question, but I could not ask you for your valuable opinion else where neutral regards AZN. I am waiting for the AZN bounce at SMA25 2700p to come in for short\medium term. Would you think its ok?

My appology to all the board members

ajren - 21 Nov 2003 13:11 - 127 of 170

Hi again ntk98.I read my post again and now feel it looks I was unhelpful.
I did not mean it that way.aj

ntk98 - 21 Nov 2003 14:06 - 128 of 170

ajren,

do not worry, ajren, please keep up your good work. GF has eplained already, he is one of my great admirer

akel44 - 21 Nov 2003 14:54 - 129 of 170

the placing price of 10 1/2p on zoo new placing is bound to bring the price lower, but give it a month or two and you will see yourself making a nice profit on this company,if you go to the zoo site you will see they have just won yet another award this week for innovation,i think this company will soar, so have patience
