Dawall Hi,

The RNS's from Biotec were always coming, they were issued to inform the market of the valuable IP gained by that aquisition, but I also feel that by releasing them one by one, Stanelco were building up towards one or more major deals (next week ?), the market has taken them the wrong way, so I now see Stanelco possibly hitting back with one major deal, and very soon after profit taking, an even bigger deal, that way no trader will have a clue which way to go for quite a while afterwards.

All IMVHO of course, so before the drivelling bashers start moaning about me again, we have a couple of weeks to see just how right I call it this time :)

Cheers,
PM

I think if you view the volume of shares in this company being bought and sold over the last few month relative to the Capital of the company the ratio is very small. No director leaving the ship.
The buy and sells are probably "traders" making very small gains on the movent they can provoke by huffing and puffing on BBs like this.

From what I can see there has been no major selling or disposing of shares by directors, Financial houses or Institutions. Perhaps they have more patience.

The share is being manipulated by short term punters and the MMs are making the money.

I am not certain how many "Derivitives traders" of one fom or another are scribbling on this board but suspect it to so. Some acting in conjunction.

Margin is fine, except when it goes against you which is very likely with SEO.

Good luck.

PM Hi

What would you class as a major deal and what sort of position do you think SEO / Biotech are in for being able to deliver over the next few months? Do you think any further trials have been carried out in the US using Starpol and Greenseal together within a Walmart supplier?

Cheers

we are gonna fly on the moon !
sure we will very very soon

paulmasterson1 - 11 Oct 2005 06:30 - 11031 of 27111

Dawall Hi,

A major deal to me is a Greenseal deal, with any of the USA retailers mentioned in previous RNS/BW releases, with or without Starpol 2000.

I am fairly certain that Greenseal and Starpol 2000 together are the subject of USA trials with retailers other than Wal-Mart, and that trials of Starpol 2000 are running in the UK for ASDA+Wal-Mart.

I think Stanelco+Biotec are in a position to deliver now, although I expect Starpol takeup to be phased in after Greenseal, one step at a time as they say, but also allows for the expansion of Biotec at the same time.

Cheers,
PM

Who said 30p by xmas, more likely to be 5p at this rate.Until the stock overhang has gone this is going to keep plummeting. No orders no recovery.

Come on masterson get ramping!

My trade is now down an horrendous amount after swallowing the rns before trade show pluff, at least i'm making plenty in BPRG to cover it but do really wonder about the scruples of some on here.

In these troubled times, just remember that STANELCO is an anagram of CANT LOSE.

Spooky or what?

lol

Oblomov

Maybe the name of the company ought to be Sanelco?

anyone who is feeling angry and is wanting to blame somebody. Don`t go down that path. You should all be responsible for making your own decisions. If you have lost pots of money then perhaps you should be reviewing your own investing/trading strategy and perhaps go on a course. Learn not to be a sheep!!!

Oilywag - 11 Oct 2005 08:44 - 11042 of 27111

If somebody had said to me that the volume of shares traded would be around 6m before 9am and then asked what I expected the majority of transactions to be, I would have definitely said BUYS

Funny old world isn't it?

Still holding for the big news.

The oily one

hewittalan6 - 11 Oct 2005 09:02 - 11043 of 27111

Yep, it's a funny old world all right. Fundamentally, this is the same SEO that was a sure fire buy at 20pps+, and was the subject of a 50pps party in the near future. If anything at all has changed, it is only for the good as SEO have gone to great lengths to show that it's line up is not just packaging in the UK, but many other products, with world wide potential.
The one thing that has definitely changed is traders realisations that products like this, and the contracts they can win, do not happen in the space of a couple of months. They take time and planning, and a market can forgive anything except a slow take up of an idea.
IMHO, the targets we have all set for the company will be achieved, but the timescales are now more realistic. If your target was to trouser it big time in the space of a few days, then this was probably the wrong one to pick. Me? I'm here for the long haul and still very confident that all will be well, given the time to develop properly.
