Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

Tabby, hardly think Vettell is a failure, if he is that must put you on a level with Tim Henman, a failure for sure.

Gutted , was relying on him to play against Wales in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.
Be just my luck if the equally useless Lampard and Terry threw the towel in to.

Never mind Dil, you lot could always give a recall to that great Welshman Vinny Jones. Was it your milkman he was related to? tee hee!

And a very proud Welshman he was too !
We got three players who would have walked into that England WC team ... Giggs (answer to your left side problem but has retired from international football) , Gareth Bale of Spurs and Aaron Ramsey of Arsenal (except he has a broken foot but will end up being better than Giggs one day !).
... and Michael Owen is Welsh but no one mentions that :-)
