Hi Baza. It appears in todays apparantly, as does YOO and ULT among others. I don't know the extent of it as I have picked it up from the YOO board.

ok - then I will assume that it is reporting historical trades as opposed to recommending them in a top ten buy list
Thanks
Baza

Blimmy bos you finely took the plunge then after all that contemplating deliberation, I also topped up today could be a good week.

Al, don't mention ult I sold that then it shot up 500% in two weeks.

nyleve - 17 Oct 2005 12:16 - 11677 of 27111

Well said greekman - can I second that. This is all new to me, I was beginning to wonder what I was into. All those like me who have kept there nerve - good luck !!!!! plus those who have come back in, of course.....

hewittalan6 - 17 Oct 2005 12:22 - 11678 of 27111

Hi baz,
Confirmation, it is a list of the most traded shares through TDW 01/06/2005 - 31/08/2005.

And yet another price hike scare for plastic based packaging.

It costs more to bag your groceries
By SUE STOCK - Raleigh News & Observer - 10/17/05.

Retailers and manufacturers will likely begin passing the increasing cost of plastic on to shoppers if prices go high enough.

Starpol is composed mainly of NatureWorks polylactic acid ( PLA ) but also of certain other secret ingredients. I guess that's why they need to go back for FDA approval.

Cheers

To keep the T.D.Waterhouse mention in perspective it should be appreciated that the position (5th) in the top ten buys is on number of trades between 1st June and 31st August 2005.

The position is not by number of shares traded.

It also featured as 9th in the top ten sales.

Thanks Alan

andysmith - 17 Oct 2005 13:10 - 11683 of 27111

Looking good, just hope not a repeat of the May borson for new investors!!
If the market doesn't get what it wants this week in terms of announcements or deals and it drops, it will be a good buying opportunity as was the last few days assuming good news ahead. Well done Baza.

markusantonius - 17 Oct 2005 13:13 - 11684 of 27111

So what can we realistically expect at this stage then, Andy? Buys:Sells are currently 6.7:2 yet only a 1p rise?

andysmith - 17 Oct 2005 13:33 - 11685 of 27111

If I knew that I'd be a millionaire, thats why I'm waiting. I said all along I'd rather get back in with good solid news than get caught on the rumour mill.
T&G report was good but advised SEO are trading on fundamentals which puts current sp on 2006 EPS >30 compared to sector 15 BUT that is without anything from Starpol so you see how important NEWS is to SEO this week unless those buying now are in it for the long-term and can wait if nothing confirmed this week other than than commitment to projects. Got to go now.

bhunt1910 - 17 Oct 2005 13:49 - 11686 of 27111

I can wait for 2 - 3 years for this one - its in my investment pot - not my trading pot. And its nearly all in my ISA's and PEPs so hopefully not a lot of CGT to pay.

Bugz - 17 Oct 2005 13:57 - 11687 of 27111

Afternoon people.

Good to see the sp hanging nicely at a less painful level. Lets just hope we get some news this week.

Little question: if we do get some sort of indication of Starpol in the US this week, how long does the FDA process take to get cleared? Trying to get timeframes of when introduction can realistically start.

stockdog - 17 Oct 2005 14:07 - 11688 of 27111

Thought I'd pave the way for andysmith's re-entry with a little addition at 16.70. Would have done so earlier last week, but have funds available only today having been stopped out of something this morning. Like the momentum and the price. If we don't break out this week, it'll happen sometime over the next few years, so don't mind which way it goes short term.

Bugz - 17 Oct 2005 14:14 - 11689 of 27111

I'll second you on that SD.

Good to see you buying back in Bosley-lets just hope we dont have another dip like the last 2 weeks. I cant stand it! ;)

Bugz
Its easy you just need a bottle of sleeping pills by youe bed.

bhunt1910 - 17 Oct 2005 14:22 - 11691 of 27111

It is possible that we might see 17 on the offer this afternoon
currently 1:2 with 16.5 v 16.75 and 71k v 200k

driver - 17 Oct 2005 14:24 - 11692 of 27111

Does any one think the below should go on the Research Page I will put it in if they do.

France votes for ban on non-biodegradable bags, (in the FT last Friday)
