required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Required field, 'thank god that's all over?'

You must be as mad as Fred1new, he called a fellow footballer a fucking black cunt and was cleared of racism.

Before posting such a stunningly dumb comment try and stop to think for a nanosecond.

This is far from over

Football is football and not endless political bickering.......I'm more interested in how our midfield is going to improve than the rowing going on behind the scenes about racism or not !...

Chris Carson - 15 Jul 2012 02:04 - 1173 of 6918

Although hardly a term of endearment to call a fellow footballer a 'fucking black cunt', a touch of realism here has to be appreciated . What is the difference in being called a English, Irish, Scottish female apendage on the football pitch? None whatsoever in my opinion, sadly wrongly or rightly it is part of the game footballers are hardly the sharpest tools in the box and in the heat of a competitave match resort to such obscenities. If John Terry had been walking down the street or been anywhere other than on a football pitch would he have uttered those immortal words?

Joe Say - 15 Jul 2012 07:58 - 1174 of 6918

what absolute muppets - read the verdict

the idea that JT is/was racist shows how little research you've undertaken - try thinking for once - you may enjoy it

perhaps some background as to who was likely to be one of the real drivers behind this case - a fine product of the inner london school system

Chris Carson - 15 Jul 2012 11:03 - 1176 of 6918

My point being Mr Say is that this case should never have gone to Court in the first place, they were like kids in a school play ground. THe FA alone should have been allowed to act, by charging them both by theire actions on the pitch which is undoubtably what will now happen. Instead who now has to pay the bill for this farce of a court case? At the end of the day it was a spat between two players who are paid an obscene amount of money to kick a football and haven't got a single brain cell between them.

skinny - 15 Jul 2012 11:54 - 1177 of 6918

"haven't got a single brain cell between them" - isn't that amoeba-ist! :-)

Chris Carson - 15 Jul 2012 12:17 - 1178 of 6918

No, that's me being polite skinny, trying to reform my ways by not using abusive and obscene language, not easy :O)

chuckles - 15 Jul 2012 15:27 - 1179 of 6918

Joe Say seems to have less than the two brain cells Chirs Carson credits Anton Ferdinand and John Terry with, which is just as well because if Joe Say had more than one his head would catch fire as they occasionally crashed together. This muppet didn't say JT was a racist but he did use a racist comment. Only a one eyed Chelsea thug could think otherwise. Unless the FA now ban JT for about ten matches, the Kick it Out movement will have been set back years.

Joe Say - 16 Jul 2012 07:22 - 1180 of 6918

The irony of some arguments (brain cell comment)

How about actually reading the verdict (I know its lengthy but if you try hard enough you may get through it in a week)

Or is the court as equally amoebic as I (in your eyes), or made up of chelsea thugs themselves ?

Don't be late for school now

Chris Carson - 16 Jul 2012 07:39 - 1181 of 6918

Or ..... Terry's defence squad premier league, prosecution amoebic.

Won a small bet on the GB women against NZ.....goodo !.....

Stan - 25 Jul 2012 22:52 - 1183 of 6918

Well done RF, sounds like you should stick to the gals rather then loosing on the blokes -):

Dil - 26 Jul 2012 17:49 - 1184 of 6918

I thought the general gist of the verdict was there was not enough evidence to find him guilty (even though everyone knows he was).

Oakapples142 - 27 Jul 2012 08:35 - 1185 of 6918

In every match someone is guilty - so what is the big deal. The ref has the power to deal with it but chooses not to - if red cards were used we would finish up 7 a side for a while until the message got through the egos of the players and possibly the instructions from managers

Dil - 27 Jul 2012 09:11 - 1186 of 6918

Ramsey should start. Team were playing tippy tappy side to side go nowhere "Swansea" style til he arrived.

Cracking pass and finish for the Senegal goal fair play.

Dil - 27 Jul 2012 09:13 - 1187 of 6918

... and if Joe Allen is worth 15 million I'm English !

chuckles - 27 Jul 2012 09:19 - 1188 of 6918

You should be so lucky

Stan - 27 Jul 2012 09:22 - 1189 of 6918

Welcome to the fold.. drinks on you -):

Dil - 27 Jul 2012 09:39 - 1190 of 6918
