What have I started - sorry guys - I thought it was interesting - and maybe a new bit of input from someone professing to be in the trade. There was nuffing in his post that lied or exaggerated anything. Maybe we just did not want to hear iit. Anyway - my guess was that it was NF - especially as I had personnaly contacted NF and they had confirmed that they were not using SEO products of any sort.

baza, wasn't it ferndale who built a new plant last year? wasn't that one of the reasons they gave for being slightly miffed at losing the asda contract?

Hi there all, been in this stock for a few months. Working in the retail packing industry as a maintenance manager for for one off ASDA/Wal*Marts suppliers for Red meat and Pork products, we are one of 3 companies that ASDA use to supply these products in the UK. Just to let you know a bit about the company we have with in the last year opened a new plant at a cost of 32 millon which basically went ahead due to the agrement with ASDA to go to just 3 suppliers, at the present time we are doing any where from 500 to 650 tones of finished product for ASDA a week, over 12 production lines.
I was up at ASDA house a couple of times over the last few weeks on on labelling issues, where i was hoping to pick up a bit of information on any future developments with the packaging we use, but unfortunatly did not here any thing. We have a few visits this coming week from technical people and the new incoming head meat buyer for ASDA. Which i will keep my ear to ground on to see if i here of any proposed changes from the packaging/sealing systems we are currently using. I know from varoius meetings we have in house that ASDA are allways looking in to ways that we thier suppliers can reduce costs and with the high oil price we have at the moment and the effect that has on the cost of the PVC/PE films at the present this could be one area where savings could be made. Also product shelf life would be a huge advantge to them if it could be increased. I work closely with the packaging buyer on the site i work and have asked him to keep me up to date of any new and coming projects he heres of. Thats all for now, hopefully be back some time with some good news for us investors, i am sure long term this will be a winner just a case of playing the waiting game.

Yes it was - but I also beleive that NF have several plants - and each one specialises on a different customer.

The positive side is that, if it is NF, that makes a total of only 1 who hasn't got Greenseal from two different sources. If it is not NF, that could be 2 big ones who haven't.

Wether such 'tales' are ramping, or bashing-ignore them. Such stuff is way too uncertain to base any kind of investing decision in. This kinda stuff makes Internet BB a total waste of time. Lets all just keep to what we know-this is far too much speculation.......

Note the 118 percent increase. This is not just a slight rise, and it will only get worse. The latest increases due to the reacent shortages, in the USA have not yet filtered through.
As of early last week, more than 20 percent of North America's supply of important chemicals such as benzene, used to make rubber,
plastic and dyes, remained out of service, according to Chemical Market Associates Inc., a Houston-based petrochemicals consulting company. Some could remain offline through the end of the year.

Did Stanelco mislead the market when they said they would introduce new products at the conference or did the reporter from Business Wire tell a porky? Either way, there's still no news on this. Another dead rabbit, that did not even make it out of the hat, perhaps? I sincerely hope not.

Do not believe post bhunt1910 and post 12084 re. the guy who works at a packing house. Looks pretty much like a hoax or else this guy is extremely slow on the uptake. To watch the BB's for several months talk about his area of expertise, make no comment and then come out with the statement he has smacks of a deramper in disguise. Wait for his next post about no further developments on Greenseal with his company. If genuine he will tell all which company it is he does work for.

Skotduck,
Well, were new products announced or not? I think it's a fair question. Maybe there'll be an RNS soon, but it should have come last week, are we all shmucks?

bos - this is how - the ramper starts - a neutral post - in a insider job - Asda - then another - and one more - then they start to ramp - seeing more new sealing - lots of it - heard the news - all going to new sealing - this kind of thing - this is how - some ramp it - if not pointed out - this person - would be back later with massive ramping statements - LOL - ;) IMO

Morning NielsJensen, and all,
Fully agree it's a fair question, although I only think an RNS would be warranted if the answer was in the positive. As no official comment was released prior to the conference I do not see the requirement for the same if it was in the negative, especially due to the tightening of LSE rules. All imho of course.

Morning all.
This issue of the RNS-agree with greekman on this.
I'm pretty confident in a RNS coming out this week or next-there'll be one for sure at the time of the 30-day agreement Re:ASDA-maybe a flurry of news around this point.

How will this fit in with Starpol. Will it be the next upgrade for other items.
