Looking to get some more of these - if I can dump a couple of my existing positions - one in profit the other a bit out of the money.

IMHO there are a few companies that come along where you can invest in their growth as well as approve of the market they are exploiting. This is one of them - as far as I am concerned. And, although that may seem an emotional base for my investment it is also guided by a hard nosed assessment of a real and present market for what is a fundamental set of tools for an ageing world male phenomenon.

Aids may be the biggie but Prostate related illness is an equally endemic challenge - for blokes, of course.

Hope we're right about profit takers or traders? but then I only got in a couple of weeks ago and was 20% up!
mg couldn't have put it better, I bet most of us know someone who has been tested for or had prostate trouble. Recovery has high %age and the need for the early diagnosis is paramount, even I've been tested for it. Luckily didn't have it but another problem found that I can now be treated before it was serious. The point, much needed product, that will affect everyone in some way, as Billy Connolly puts it, men reach a certain age when the doctor only becomes interested in your arse!! God could have created a better access, or is it Mother Natures revenge for the smear test/periods/giving birth etc etc.
If they get an approved MRSA test as well!!!
I'm not panicking, in fact if I had some funds left I would top-up.
Heart and head behind this one, great combo!!

andy - some traders were expecting news today and didn't get it, so it looks as though they've moved onto the next "flavour of the week".

MDW's results are due out in the next couple of weeks, also 2 major RNS's are expected and could be announced any time now. At least one RNS should appear just before results or more likely just after is my bet.

I think the MM's will mark the price down early tomorrow to "shake the tree" a bit and scare out some more sellers (they obviously have a whiff of good news to come and need to collect as many shares as they can to sell to eager punters).

Tomorrow morning could well be the best time to top up.

For anyone interested, this is the latest offering from the guy who psyched up the traders:

"The U.S deal is in the bag! and thats that.... On 27. 10. 04 the news about the Bard deal came out!! It was in the bag nearly 2 weeks prior to the news!!. Phone Philip Stimpson and ask him!!!!!!!! 01788 547888. Most of you guys know Jack Shit! about how these guys work!! You jump to infantile conclusions, and bingo, i'm filtered. Believe or not, ho gives a shit! you guys sell tomorrow, and i top up!!! who is """MAD"""??????? the guys who sell!!! MMs love you !!!!!!!!!"

john50 - 18 Jan 2005 08:17 - 126 of 274

how many other predictions has he made

banjomick - 18 Jan 2005 16:51 - 127 of 274

A couple of people (advfn) have rang up mdw, news out thurs/fri.

mg - 18 Jan 2005 17:16 - 128 of 274

Given the rantings of some people over there I will believe it when I see it. There's definitely a ramper/de-ramper game going on with Cube Boss at the heart of it.

However, I did top up today on the pull-back. Average now about 7.5p so here's hoping we finally do hear what's going on in the background.

To be honest I now think this one is a no-brainer BUT I've thought that about a number of stocks - and been proved wrong many times. We'll see ;)

Do you prefer us prostRate Choccy ;-)

Oakapples142 - 19 Jan 2005 09:59 - 135 of 274

You really are being an optomist - However this little gem might take some licking !!

mg - 19 Jan 2005 10:37 - 136 of 274

Choccy
You and me both - cleared out some BPRG (probably bad timing but something had to go) to double up on my holding - average now not quite as good as yesterday (8.7) but still nicely in profit ;)

Calculation was easy really - BPRG would need to be back at its all time high to return as much as MDW at about 11p.

Jules is due a large drink if this one comes off !!

john50 - 19 Jan 2005 17:51 - 137 of 274

Someone knows something bought 182,313 at 12p as the market closed.

EWRobson - 19 Jan 2005 17:57 - 138 of 274

john: Buying price of 12p! You may well be right. Good spot!

Eric

Oakapples142 - 20 Jan 2005 09:59 - 139 of 274

They were right - what looks like a reasonable set of results saw a rapid rise in SP followed by a steady drop into red figures. It will return to blue as the day unfolds and the big boys get to work.

petralva - 20 Jan 2005 10:42 - 140 of 274

i will add at 7-8p but dont think it will get any lower than 9p,and 1 more thing how do u get rid of the edit on your post?

Oakapples142 - 20 Jan 2005 10:58 - 141 of 274

As far as I know it remains there and your last post could do with a touch up !! Good luck
