Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

My stockwatch page is not updating the streaming (in fact it looks different, not too keen, and I can no longer open additional pages from it anymore! :-( - useful to check out the BB, and leave the stockwatch page up)

Trading streaming working, but not stockwatch - checked my internet options, and it is set to update automatically. Any suggestions?

It seems I turned the streaming off, by leaving turn streaming on!

Probably not a bug but ...

I want to add INDU to a stockwatch screen but I get "The following stocks were not recognised, or are not available live on your current subscription level: INDU"

I know INDU isnt a stock but this works OK for UKX which also isnt a stock.

Spaceman - unfortunately, we do not carry this at the moment - hence the error message you are getting.

Ian thanks for that but its the Dow and it is available on the Indices tab as is UKX?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 22 Oct 2003 12:56 - 1277 of 7315

I'm afraid not even I don't have access to it in its streaming form

Sorry

Felix(MoneyAM) - 22 Oct 2003 15:36 - 1279 of 7315

Spaceman, for what it's worth you can draw a streaming chart of INDU,

Thanks Felix so why cant it go in a stockwatch then?

Felix(MoneyAM) - 22 Oct 2003 16:26 - 1281 of 7315

In brief it's forced on us because of the LSE and their distinction between
"raw data" (i.e. numerical streaming prices) and "derived data" i.e. a graph.

Is it just me or has something happenend to the width settings of some threads? I am finding that some threads are wider than others for example ruths 'FTSE /DOW DIVERGENCE TRADE, or pairs trades in general' this thread doesnt fold to the same width as for example the traders thread.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Oct 2003 11:42 - 1283 of 7315

Spaceman - this usually happens when someone has copied a chart or image of some kind into a posting therefore making its width larger.

EDIT - yes just looked at the thread and as you will see Ruth has posted a large chart which is what is making it wider.
