The "Con"servative Party, What are they good for? (this was the Thread Title but looks like it was to long to print up).

Well they primarily exist to support the extremes of big business and Off-Shore Tax Dodgers, using various methods to get elected, for example Divide and Conquer and playing to the less intelligent of the population through the Gutter Press etc.

Here's the latest wind-up rant from their leader Cameron.

Pre-cooked, whole, chlorinated, hormone fed, caged chicken in a can direct from the USA could be coming to a store near you thanks to Liam Fox.

Stan at his illiterate best. He should join up with Abbott. She can write his letters while he does her sums.

A European conservative group co-founded by the Tories and led by Brexit campaigner and MEP Daniel Hannan has been asked to repay more than half a million euros of EU funds following an investigation into their spending, the Guardian has learned.

In a rare negative finding touching a British political party in government, European parliament senior leaders on Monday night ordered the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe (Acre) to repay €535,609 (£484,360) of EU funds."

The Conservative Party is heading towards a "prolonged period" in opposition unless it adapts to modern Britain, George Osborne has said.
The former chancellor, who was sacked by Theresa May in 2016, said the party needed to become more socially-liberal (as if) and pro-employer to survive in power.
The ex-frontbencher, who now edits that Rag the Evening Standard, campaigned for Remain in the EU referendum.
He added he believes a general election could be likely in 2019.
Ms Osborne was interviewed by David Dimbleby, who is guest-editing BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Saturday.
He was former prime minister's David Cameron's closest ally in government and served as his chancellor for the whole disastrous six years Mr Cameron was prime minister - from 2010 to 2016.
