SUPERSCAPE - TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FUTURE. (SPS)

Happy1 - 03 Mar 2004 22:47

Superscape was founded nearly twenty years ago, and has been dedicated throughout its history to the development of ground-breaking software technology for the creation and delivery of innovative, high quality interactive 3D applications.
Over the years, Superscape has amassed unparalleled expertise and experience in the development of 3D software capable of working within the constraints of limited memory devices, slow processor speeds and strictly controlled file sizes.

Drawing on this knowledge, Superscape has established a world-leading position in the development of industry-standard 3D technology and applications for mobile devices. The company's Swerve technology has been developed specifically for wireless environments in close collaboration with ARM, and comprises a 3D engine (Swerve Client), authoring tools (Swerve Studio) and a broad portfolio of 3D content, with particular emphasis on 3D games. Swerve is being adopted on a global basis by many of the mobile industry's leading players, together with world-renowned content and brand organisations.

Superscape has corporate headquarters in Hook, Hampshire (UK) and San Clemente, California (USA) with regional offices in Tokyo and Sydney. The company is quoted on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SPS).

Superscape (SPS) has received various tips in the press and by Analysts recently which will certainly give impetous to the share price. Indicators are looking good with the RSI rising off an oversold position and the MACD crossing showing BULLISH signs for the stock.

The mobile gaming market is still in it's infancy but the projected revenue is enormous. Mobile operators are looking at tapping the Gameboy market as they feel that users will not want to carry around a multitude of technology and if they have a mobile phone which can double as a gaming station than people will prefer this option.

People should also look at the recent contracts which SPS have signed for their technology. This is a technology company which could well be a great success in 2004.

been watching this stock for a while now, decided it was time to take the plunge, i think once the VODAFONE deal is made public the share price will go northwards, i think that the only reason it hasn't is because of the ineviatable IPO that all this new business will bring with it. But with so many contracts up for grabs it should be swallowed up by the institutions anyway.

Vodafone to define Java platform for 3G handsets
June 29, 2004

In a collaboration announced, Sun Microsystems and Vodafone are cooperating to define a next-generation Java technology-based platform for Vodafone live! 3G services. Called Vodafone VFX, the new platform will help Vodafone monetize data services and deliver a rich, secure communications experience to usher in a more exciting, more connected mobile world.

"Vodafone has a vision of a mobile future that will enrich people's daily lives. To deliver on this vision and delight our customers, we selected Java as our core platform and Sun as the prime vendor to help us build and execute our strategy," said Guy Laurence, Global Marketing Director at Vodafone Global Products and Content Services.

"Working with Sun, we aim to speed development of enhanced 3G services while leveraging the wealth of existing content and large Java developer base."

The Vodafone VFX platform will be based on the Java Technology for the Wireless Industry (JTWI) technology specification together with other third- party technologies. To deliver a complete solution to application developers and handset manufacturers, Vodafone has selected the Java 2 Standard Micro Edition Wireless Toolkit to simplify application development for developers and the Java Device Test Suite to ensure high-quality handset implementation.

"With a clear roadmap and technology specification for Vodafone's mobile data services platform, 3G content developers and handset manufacturers will be able to increase cost efficiency and reduce development time. And that's crucial in a rapidly expanding market," said Alan Brenner, vice president, Consumer and Mobile Systems Group at Sun. "With over 7.5 million Vodafone live! customers as of March 31, 2004, Vodafone has already proven how eager the mobile marketplace is for cost-effective, high-quality, innovative services."

The introduction of Vodafone VFX devices is expected to take the Vodafone live! experience to a new level with further enhancements to their customer experience.

Vodafone's multimedia consumer service, Vodafone live!, has been launched in 20 countries since it was first introduced in October 2002 to offer customers picture messaging, mobile Java-technology games, polyphonic ring tones and exclusive content from leading entertainment brands.

3-D Gaming on Your Mobile Phone

June 2004 (Newstream) -- Last year, it was the camera phone. But this year, industry insiders say the newest trend for mobile phones will be three-dimensional video games, attracting a new generation of users and driving sales throughout the mobile market.

The newest cell phones with 3-D scene rendering are already popular in Asia and are expected to make a splash soon here in the U.S. and across Europe. That's because the games have improved along with the phones - offering high resolution, large color screens, surround sound and easy-to-use joysticks. And with the advancement in phones, mobile users won't need to sacrifice traditional options like business applications for 3D versions of their favorite games.

Analyst group IDC estimates more than 24 million Americans will download at least one wireless game this year and predicts the industry will generate $1 billion in U.S. revenue by 2006. If wireless gaming can become as big as the once doubted downloadable ringtone industry - which now generates millions of dollars - then soon, most people will be playing games with their phones.

SUPERSCAPE GLOBAL NETWORK OPERATOR STRATEGY ON SCHEDULE WITH THIRD TOP TIER
CONTRACT WIN

Monday 5th July 2004, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc (LSE: SPS), the
technology based leader in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones,
announces today that it has signed a revenue sharing distribution agreement with
a world leading global network operator to distribute the company's expanding
portfolio of mobile games.

This is the third revenue-sharing contract to be signed, bringing the company's
mobile games to another of the top ten Superscape targeted network operators
around the globe. The first agreement, with Verizon, was announced on 29th April
and Superscape now has multiple games generating thousands of royalty bearing
downloads, delivered over the air, on the Verizon network today. The second
partnership announced recently will bring Superscape mobile games to the China
Mobile network in August.

Kevin Roberts, CEO, Superscape Group plc said: 'I am delighted to report that
we have now signed this very important and key distribution agreement with an
organisation that is widely recognised as being at the forefront of mobile games
introduction and distribution. This contract win was at the top of the list of
ten targeted operators for Superscape and will result in a dramatic increase in
the number of consumers to whom we now have access. The revenue-sharing
agreement - under the terms of which Superscape receives an attractive portion
of royalties - opens up revenue streams for the company's games from the mass
market of end users.

'It is estimated that by the end of this year, there will be at least ten
million Swerve-enabled handsets in the marketplace. Combined with the
distribution agreements we are now signing with world-leading operators, I
believe that Superscape's Swerve will have achieved substantial market presence
by the close of 2004.'

Details of the titles which will be available for download from the networks for
all mass-market handsets will be announced shortly but will include games based
on high profile IP (intellectual property) from Superscape's entertainment
partners who include Disney, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios, Activision and
Global Wireless Entertainment (GWE).

Kevin Roberts continued: 'I anticipate that we will be making further
announcements concerning both direct and indirect network operator contracts
(the latter being made via partnerships) over the course of the next few months.
Superscape's four corners strategy of working with handset manufacturers,
operators, wireless technology companies and leading global entertainment groups
has provided Superscape with a strong first to market advantage with its
revolutionary portfolio of mobile games. Clearly these agreements are absolutely
fundamental as they provide not only the means of distributing our games to
consumers throughout the world, but also provide the potential for multiple mass
market revenue streams.'

ehall - 05 Jul 2004 22:24 - 139 of 707

Just had a look on the rtzinteractive site, these games are really going to shock the industry they are so good, graphics are at least as good as PS1 if not better and will make the 2d games completely out of touch, kids are going to be begging for these phones for xmas all over the world. Note also now that they have three of their ten ttop targets for mobile operators.

Finally, the clue is in the text if you care to read, THIS IS VODAFONE and it is staring you straight in the eye "This contract win was at the top of the list of ten targeted operators". There you have it!

little willie - 05 Jul 2004 22:37 - 140 of 707

ehall...the rumour of VOD has been mooted for ages, really its nothing new and it is quite probable that there is some facy in it but lets wait and see.

I've been in "the Scraper" since early 1967 and more often than not have ended up dissapointed.
When things go well they widen the spread to an unhealthy margin, its a popular share for the mm's to play 'silly buggers' with and I personally have a deep mistrust of its management and their overhead expenditure etc.

I've a pretty big holding which I'd virtually written off, talk like dailos is, in all probability total nonsence; possible but I doubt it.....

Keep your feet on the ground guys, when we went in with ARM it was meant to be "the bees knees" but look where we[and they] are now......

TARGETED OPERATOR"
Tuesday 6th July 2004, Hook, Hampshire, UK: Superscape Group plc (LSE:SPS), the
technology based leader in revolutionary entertainment for mobile phones,
announces today that through a new partnership the company will be distributing
its portfolio of mobile games to another of its top ten targeted network

tier operator. I am very encouraged by the pace at which we are winning both

major players in the wireless industry and am confident that this strong
momentum will continue over the months ahead."

I think that given Vodafone is definitely one,. this share is on a one way ticket now and about time. Chin up little willie!

Opinion, what other company listed on the LSE is signing deals this big with major players at such a rate, three in three days, there is only one way. By the way, thanks Shares for supporting SPS, it did help my deciscion to buy a while ago, IC sucks, they got this one completely wrong (but not NXT though).
