Ooh, do I detect some of your lipstick is being smeared with all this kissing and making up?!

Let's hope that all the agogging comes from a rapidly rising share price, instead of flailing handbags.

With chuckles

Good for you, garyble! Chip in if you feel like it.

I'm all for free speech.

Does anyone have any research on Martin Wagner... Yes I agree he's an asset to SEO however if the mans as good as the boards tell, why'd ASDA give him up??

Red Erik - 30 Nov 2005 19:18 - 13131 of 27111

ASDA didn't, he was poached, it always happens to the best

explosive - 30 Nov 2005 19:33 - 13132 of 27111

Thanks Erik
This is true, I take it details of sarary/bonus haven't been released..... Would like to think that he's going to earn his keep.

Red Erik - 30 Nov 2005 19:58 - 13133 of 27111

Any thoughts on the drop today, and possible trading update tomorrow ?

Any thoughts on maybe a board meeting last monday, where they discussed the trading update, and agreed on Martin and Ian's new roles ?

Red Erik - 30 Nov 2005 20:03 - 13134 of 27111

Explosive, no worries, I haven't seen any details on his pay yet, I guess that will show up with the next set of results, or on the website

Q--oblomov that is no way to speak to people who show concerns on this board. Where is your respect for other people`s opinions?
You have probably twice. That is overweight
--------
A--oblomov - 30 Nov 2005 09:54 - 13120 of 13134
Snip,I have also expressed an opinion only - I haven't been disrespectful in any way. There is so much garbage being posted here of late
----------
Agreed- someone pass the bin to the Russian-I have never seen such rubbish posted by a refugee from a bb which boasts less than 100 members, most of whom chased posters away who opined that SEO`s share price would be 14p, and that is MORE than it is today, a disgrace to free speech, still Communism always was.
A slick to behold.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

blinger - 30 Nov 2005 20:29 - 13136 of 27111

Don`t just love the " apology speak" so prevelant nowadays, e.g.
Post----
" Someone, not far from me who stated that XXXX=YYYY, is a madman, thrice poxed, no education, and a person who never had two pennies to buy a share, broke, a shorter about to be burned, and not fit to have a life , marriage or children, possibly even a pervert"
-----
After the replies come in, the tone is changed to, e.g.-----

"I dont think its rude at all but If it has been taken that way I apologise"

Slicks do it greasily!!!!!!!!!!

bhunt1910 - 30 Nov 2005 21:12 - 13137 of 27111

Before his promotion, Martin was on 50,000 pa with Private Health Insurance, Life Insurance, plus car allowance of 15,000, discretionary bonus, performance incentive and options over 1m shares - plus of course 25 days holiday. He was on 1 months notice - but I think that has now been changed to 3 months notice.

Out of interest, Ian was on 100k etc, etc and he had 1,640,000 shares with options on a further 6,756,750 shares.

My guess is that Martin would now be earning c75k with increased incentive bonus and further share options

There's been a good post on the fillyourboots site.
A reply has been recieved from investor relations@stanelco re the FDA approval.
The 120 day period is the MAXIMUM period that non approval can take.
From the e-mail it is reported testing started on/around 6th oct.. so a worse case senario would be full approval 6th feb next year (hopefully a lot sooner).
No sorry, a worse case scenario would be it's carcinogenic, think rap musics ok and shop at topman.......happydays.rotrotrotrotrotrot.
still happy to invest more at these cheap prices.

bhunt1910 - 01 Dec 2005 08:36 - 13139 of 27111

Usual SEO increase this morning - with I expect the usual SEO drop later.

I have been assured by SEO that news in the form of the close report is on its way - but in reality if the results are not due to be published until 28/02 - then the close report can be published any time up to 31/12 (I think thats right - 2 months before ?).

I suspect (dont know) that they are ready to go - but would want to publish them with some blockbuster news such as a deal - or even FDA approval. So my guess is that they have a timetable which says we hold on to report until such and such a date. If we haven't concluded the deal or heard from FDA - then we publish.

I am speculating now - but maybe there could even be news of an ooc settlement on the court case - now wouldn't that be a bonus

hewittalan6 - 01 Dec 2005 08:42 - 13140 of 27111

Morning Baza,
I would tend to agree with your synopsis. I think the thing they are waiting for is to be able to announce the results of the end of 30 day trial and any agreement that has stemmed from it. This in turn may be contingent upon the FDA approval. It may contain Asda agreement anyway and WM agreement if the FDA approval is granted.
Speculation I know, but it would seem sensible.
On the downside (lets keep this balanced), the timing means that the close report could be published as the markets close for Christmas, and this may be in their minds if there is nothing substantial to report.

blunt1910/hewittaland6 ( morning ).

As you both say speculation, which I think is a natural human trait which we are all guilty off. BUt I do agree that it appears to be the most likely synopsis.

bhunt1910 - 01 Dec 2005 08:55 - 13142 of 27111

....... and that might tie in with what someone else speculated - an announcement before next Wednesday - to give the news time to raise the shareprice before 31/12 - cos I expect a lot of the incentive bonuses willbe linked to sp at 31/12 - or would they have been linked to company year end on 31/10 ?

hewittalan6 - 01 Dec 2005 08:57 - 13143 of 27111

Or, and I hate to be negative, but ii hasn't been on for a couple of days, if the news is poor to middling, then the close statement would be issued as late as possible so that the 31/12 sp was kept higher than it would otherwise be..........

Nealo - 01 Dec 2005 09:08 - 13144 of 27111

Hello - just passing. My shareholding still intact, but looking a bit sick at the moment.

We could all do with some good news to give this stock a boost into the new year.

The new promotions at SEO seem to be a step in the right direction for the future - but what we need now are orders, my pension is riding on this.

Good Luck all, and if I dont get back in time, Have a great Christmas

Just picked this up from another site - but I am sure this is not new news ????

"Stanelco Debuts Secure Labeling System

ORLANDO, Fla.Stanelco PLC (www.stanelco.co.uk) introduced PulsLine, a tamper-proof, anti-counterfeit food labeling system designed to protect against fraud and product tampering. Developed by Aquasol, a wholly owned subsidiary of Stanelco, the new line is currently available in the United States and United Kingdom, and has been used in the food, information technology, airline, pharmaceutical and automotive industries.

Utilizing a security thread similar to the system used in bank notes, PulsLine provides visual and electronic evidence of tampering, increasing the safety and integrity of a product, and is the first labeling system of its kind to use a unique patented multi-layer laminate construction, according to the company. The security thread can be micro-printed with a company name or logo, which can be revealed by removal of a unique tab pull, and has tactile properties discernible by individuals with visual impairments. The system also incorporates nonreproducible bio-codes, DNA, radio frequency identification tags and holograms.

It took several years of research and testing, but now we are ready to launch PulsLine, said David Edwards, product development director with Aquasol. The development of the PulsLine took years because the adhesive had to be strong. Now, PulsLine is the latest anti-counterfeit, anti-tampering security label available.

Bhunt1910,

Yes it is old news, but it's not bad to be reminded of SEO's other potential money making idea's.

bhunt1910 - 01 Dec 2005 09:47 - 13147 of 27111

Thanks GM - I thought it was - someone is obviously trying to pep up the sp by recycling old news..Baza.
