FT Small caps page 46

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 08:23 - 13212 of 27111

Mad Pad, loads of buying, do you think it's linked to the FT article ?

What does the article say (briefly ?)

Loads of buying equals shorters running, both good for a stonking SP rise :)

PM1 said last night there is a big buyer or two accumulating stock, maybe a lot of the 100k and 250k and bigger trades over the last few days are theirs ?

This is what he sent out the other day, and he also said last night that he had emailed the two groups suggesting they look at investing in SEO, one has $800m in cash plus $126Bn in stock

"There are a lot of creative types looking for the next big thing," said Robert Sheppard, deputy director for corporate programs at Clean Air-Cool Planet, a nonprofit environmental education organization. "Well, these days, environment is it."

It is impossible to quantify the environmental industry. Many of the newer companies are privately held. And many "green" products more efficient power generators or bio- degradable plastics are parts of other industries. But investors are clearly funneling more money into green technologies. Last year the California Public Employees Retirement System said it would invest $ 200 million in what it called the "burgeoning environmental technology sector." This year, 27 members of the Investor Network on Climate Risk promised to invest $ 1 billion in companies with green products. "The environmental industry is about to take off as more investors realize that they can reap returns from cleaner technologies," said Dan Bakal, director of electric power programs at Ceres, a coalition of investors and environmental organizations that runs the investor network.

Unless of coarse someone has got a whiff of good news. The close statement must be out pretty soon - there has been lots of conjecture that a statement could be out next week - whatever the reason - this is good news and removes a bit of the jitters from the market - it now needs to be backed up with some figures about sales.

Could be a long weekend.

I still think the fundamentals for this company are good - lets hope the close statement adds some meat to the bone - but lets not forget that we are unlikely to see any profits this year.

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 08:36 - 13215 of 27111

Baza, they have Frogpack revenue, I wonder how much ?

Also the Air-Pillows commercialisation with a big player, should be worth a few quid

It's what is in the pipeline that might get the SP back over 20p though IMHO

Mad Pad - 02 Dec 2005 08:38 - 13216 of 27111

Erik basically no ,it said "issues over timing and delivery----no newsflow likely till January-------there will be a better time to buy this stock".But its a funny old world.Their recommendation was HOLD not sell.

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 08:48 - 13217 of 27111

Mad Pad, looks like someone else is saying buy, maybe RHPS ?

Either that or PM1 is right about his big buyers(s) ?

Erik the Red

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 08:48 - 13218 of 27111

Well I took the opportunity to add a few at 13 - fingers crossed for a positive close statement during next couple of weeks.

Mad Pad - 02 Dec 2005 08:59 - 13219 of 27111

Erik Ive aloso noticed in the past that any article that is not downright negative tends to produce a positive effect ,such as I believe this one in the FT has.It also increases awareness of the company.I wouldnt take too much notice of the RHPS,what we need is institutional investors on board those that buy 1or 2 %of the company.

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 09:19 - 13220 of 27111

Up 1p - all of a sudden I am feeling a bit happier - still a long way to go - but good to see some blue - lets hope we can hold on to it

.and just to think that my 1000 buy this morning started all of this !!!!!!!!!

Baza

Red Erik - 02 Dec 2005 09:28 - 13221 of 27111

Baza, buy another 1000, and another, and another :)

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 09:35 - 13222 of 27111

Tee hee

robinhood - 02 Dec 2005 09:37 - 13223 of 27111

seems to me treeshaking is over. All we need now is positive news and everone will be smiling over xmas. (unless of course you are a turkey...going to call mine blinger!!)

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 09:43 - 13224 of 27111

Couple of comments on other threads that maybe SEO and BPRG have come to an OOC agreement. I assume this would be good news for both companies if true - it is intersting that BPRG has risen similarly this morning - although generally they have been on more of an uptrend just recently and they are expecting a positive RNS giving an update before Xmas

2 + 2 = 3 or 4 or 5 ??? - ok so I am bored

Baza

garyble - 02 Dec 2005 09:56 - 13225 of 27111

Oops, no Bling Bling yet!?

Must be hard at work trying to figure out if this is:
1) Shorters closing
2) People optimistic that news will be out today
3) A leak of news
4) A momentary respite

Same old trend, price goes up Seq/Bling go quiet.......

markusantonius - 02 Dec 2005 10:08 - 13226 of 27111

Hopefully the big bounce is here.....?

Biscuit - 02 Dec 2005 12:03 - 13227 of 27111

My assumption is there must be one big buyer out there.

bhunt1910 - 02 Dec 2005 12:22 - 13228 of 27111

MM's are mopping up shares from anyone who wants to sell - so they are expecting the sp to go higher by the looks.

blinger,

Re: TB

You're a strange person. I posted a comment on TB's latest buletin on SEO so that readers would know he was positive.

I didn't, and dont, pass any judgement on his opinion or say I shared it.

Why dont you just kick the dog like the rest of us to rid yourself of your frustrations, rather than make childish posts attacking anything anyone says that takes your fancy with no reason or logic?

On more serious matters,

Good to see a rise for a change. Could be the start of something big!

Volume so far today isn't far short of those of HSBC or TESCO.

Biscuit - 02 Dec 2005 13:33 - 13230 of 27111

Just read the FT article, teather's seem to be saying that just because SEO haven't released an RNS for a while they've cut the rating. They don't seem to mention the ASDA trial that's just finished.
