Bioprogress (BPRG)

scorpion - 13 Aug 2003 13:54

Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Wow, what a day, wish I had more cash to top up but don't won't to sell any other of my shares...

superrod - 17 Nov 2004 15:52 - 1337 of 2372

no news but down bundles.....every time i think i might buy some more it goes down again......shorters? stop losses? insider info? i notice SEO is up.

DSTOREY9916 - 17 Nov 2004 15:55 - 1338 of 2372

SEO up BPRG down big time! Who says crime doesn't pay. The silence from BPRG on this is deafening!!!

david 2000 - 17 Nov 2004 15:55 - 1339 of 2372

There is a mention, that Stanleco have some new evidence re patents. But its by no means confirmed, just a rumour on a BB. Lots of rumours flying today, Graham Hind ill, emergency Board Meetings.. the lot!!!
. Volume is amazing... Staying out to see where we close.

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 15:56 - 1340 of 2372

HAVE YOU PEOPLE NEVER HEARD OF THE DANGERS OF TRYING TO CATCH A FALLING KNIFE,

IT COULD FALL ANOTHER 10 % TOMORROW, BUT THEN AGAIN IT COULD GO UP 20 %

GOOD LUCK

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 15:58 - 1343 of 2372

SEO up because of tray lidding technology, deal with asda and walmart possible, nothing to do with Court Case I believe... DYOR. "SEO up for last couple of days"...

Janus - 17 Nov 2004 15:58 - 1344 of 2372

From Tom2468 on the other place,

"can I just say I rang Beth Edwards and she said there was ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THE FALL"

"she did say an RNS would come out if the shares finished down more than 10%"

IMHO this is a buying opportunity.

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 15:59 - 1345 of 2372

Dave I think something a little stronger than beer, bought into SEO this am to try and cover BPRG loss short term... Some analyst says if their technology takes off could see a share price of 1.00 in a year... Currently 5.5p to buy... DYOR.

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 16:02 - 1346 of 2372

Poster on iii has said that it has been leaked that GH has resigned from BPRG, only passing on gossip. DYOR.

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 16:02 - 1347 of 2372

Nothing like a city rumour to crack the concrete , if thats a rumour well i`am a dutch man,,hello henk . You mite say 50 pence is a nice round number..

DSTOREY9916 - 17 Nov 2004 16:03 - 1348 of 2372

To those who say this is a buying opportunity is like saying terminal cancer is s good opportunity too buy paracetamol!!

Bones - 17 Nov 2004 16:04 - 1349 of 2372

Capitulation proportions here. Don't forget Man Group held the best of 5% of the shares presumably as a hedge against CFD and SB positions. Almost certainly most were long and bought north of 100p. Today may well be (to hazard a guess) the bulk of those long positions liquidating. Consequently, the big lumps of stock going through today are probably Man Group selling. That was never an institutional holding as some hopefuls believed. I wouldn't be surprised to see an RNS saying Man no longer holds a notifiable interest.

The smell of burnt toast pervades the air. Imagine most of the 100p+ buys are on 65% margin which I think is par for the course for "high-tech" CFDs.

All the crap about "reasons" for the fall shouldn't detract from the real situation. Literally millions of shares are held on via CFDs and spread bets. What a holy mess. Thank the lord I paid cash! Mine are staying just where they are.

I expect tomorrow morning will be a shade ugly.

PS Please Dil, no sanctimonious comments, there's a good boy!

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 16:07 - 1350 of 2372

adieh, thats it for me now,,who`s got the prozac.

Kivver - 17 Nov 2004 16:32 - 1351 of 2372

bones - Ive summed dil up brilliantly on the IQE thread (post 100). Hes a sad and lonely man.

AdieH - 17 Nov 2004 16:35 - 1352 of 2372

Lol, hang in there Dave, long term view don't forget, no point in selling now...
